I've seen this guy take BP this is great odds for this guy at the diamondbacks park, all the other hitters have solid power as well and can easily win but the fact that Robinson Cano is placed just above rickie weeks leads me to believe that the oddsmakers are not giving Cano the respect he deserves.
Anyone else agree that Cano can easily win this thing?
Think i'm gonna throw a 1/2 unit on this bad boy after the sunday games if it's still this high.

i seriously doubt he'll win it....ortiz and fielder have the experience needed for this competition, and bautista will probably take a cycle before the competition so he worries me. cano is more of a line drive hitter to me..he could do it but might have to adjust his swing a bit....its so lame that fielder picked rickie weeks, should be howard/stanton/bruce IMO...i think people want to see guys that can hit it 500 ft ya kno? and holliday was terrible last year in it, why him again, why not berkman instead? i guess its better than last years combo of chris young, swisher, and vernon wells, what a joke that was

Yea i don't get why the picks went the way they did. no branyan, the guy who hits the ball a country mile, i mean hes had a few upper deckers.
The problem with cano is he changes his swing for game time as it leads to a better avergae and better RBI numbers, plus hes not the guy they want getting all the HR's. However when he is given the green light he gets it done. At +700 it's worth a stab.
I mean i think he should have got the spot over swish last year but yanks told him no, this year they gave him the go ahead i think he makes it count.
For some reason I don't think Jose has the raw power to get it done at BP. In game the velocity of the ball helps it out a lot.
If were going on raw power Jose is overrated in this comp, and I see a lot of people biting on him and getting burned.

I disagree. Jose Bautista has all the power needed and then some. He is a pulling machine
Take a look at the home run he hit last night, low and away and he still pulls it deep. ( not judging his power off of 1 at bat, just saying)
My head says that either Fielder or Bautista will win it, but my heart is with Robbie C
Even when you pull a ball you still use the ball to help you, look at grandy and tex they can hit HR's in game quite frequently but in BP they don't get it done, hence why they didn't even volunteer. Its hard to gauge based on the fact they i've only seen footago of jose warming up a few times but i think he is gonna have a hard time. I don't know what to say about Rickie, 5 if he's lucky.

I still think Jose can get it done, I think anoyone but Rickie can get it done, it's just the value posed with certain players getting it done is lower then it should be. We'll see what happens though, but one things for sure I see a lot of love going Joses way. Also fielder, i think gonzo and cano will be over looked a tad here.
