Q: What do KeyElement and Jared Weaver have in common? A: They both threw no hitters yesterday.
Such is life. Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone. Still up overall and the majority of the picks in the thread yesterday were pretty good. Persevere is the word of the day. Let's get it on.

Yeh Key Ari.teased the shit out of us yesterday,I was pissed that I just did F-5 as it looked like they were going to win the game, then saw the final, ended up about even in NBA,missed an over by 1 basket and watched 4 FTs clank in last min.,maybe 3 but either way if this great NBA guys could shoot FTs.......... Anyway on Cards and Marlins both 9 inning plays, thinking about taking Miami-5 tonight,as far as I remember the first series are best of 5,dont know if that changed for this year, but will make sure, but a sweep by Miami should be possible, but not a fan of giving home team 5 points, plus also hate it when a team is missing one of their starters,as it makes others think they have to step up,so still thinking on it,but do believe Miami is the play.

Also glad I missed the Phils start,I have always bet against Blanton, but the Braves made it easy on him sitting Chipper and McCann,so probaly wouldnt have played it,but I might need to re-think him as he is pitching very good so far this year. I also thought that Moyer was going to be an easy fade this year, that also doesnt seem to be the case yet, maybe later in the year.

Lemme get something straight. People in Northern Illinois actually pay good, hard earned money to watch the Cubs? Are they masochistic by nature or do the long hard winters freeze dry their brains? How much money have Ryan Dempster and Matt Garza laid on the table to buy their way out? Don't these people realize the only way to get competent ownership and management in there is an empty stadium? Don't buy the products of any Cubs advertiser and tell them why. There, I feel better now. Thank you for listening.

Key,you are getting some terrible luck this week,or just bad bullpen pitching,at least you still made money on that no closing ass POS team, where I passed on 5 inning which won and looks like the game bet is going to lose. Think we need to go back to just doing our 5 inning plays that was what this thread was started for.

Jeg, yes Arizona put it to us yesterday. Too bad they don't have a first 6 inning play.
Key, glad I only bet F5 on STL.
2-2 yesterday (2-1 F5) (0-1 9 innings)
19-17-3 (F5 innings)
9-5 (9 innings)
28-22-3 (YTD)
Todays games:
CARDS (-160) F5 - Won
ANGELS (-137) F5 - Morrow has been tough on the road this year with a .66 ERA in 13.2 innings. He has allowed 7 runs in 12 innings over the last 2 years vs the LAA. Haren has allowed only 4 runs in his last 3 starts, pitching 22 innings in that span. He allowed 4 runs in 15 innings in 2 starts vs Toronto last season. What I really like about this game is that Toronto is 1-8-1 F5 innings on the road this year, scoring only 14 runs. They are 0-7 F5 vs RHP. The Angels are 6-5-1 at home F5 innings this year, but have only scored 28 runs. Not great offensive output by the Angels, but I think 1 run may win the F5 innings here.

Good luck on the Angels gamer. You guys may find this interesting. I was doing some stat updating a little while ago and do you know what Pujols has done for the Angels offense? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. They have exactly the same offensive probability ratings they finished with last year. Cardinals don't seem to miss him either, that offense is rolling. That may change, but right now it looks like Wilson was the far better investment.
