Wasn't that impressed with them all year and felt Stanford should have actually taken their spot. Not sure WTF the committee was thinking. Big 10 is sorry.

Unfortunately the committee caved to public demands. No way the committee could of put Ohio State in over Michigan State after losing to them. If Ohio State and Michigan State played 20 times, Ohio State wins 19 of them. This Michigan State team wouldn't even be in my top 10. Narrow victories over horrific Purdue and Rutgers teams. Maryland smoked their O-Line so bad they knocked Cook out in the first quarter. Unfortunately Ohio State underachieved all year too, constantly beating inferior competition by low point totals. After the Northwestern game, Stanford was easily a top 3 team in the country. That loss over Oregon was one hell of a game but ultimately it sunk Stanford.
In the future you will see more of these terrible decisions made by the committee, unfortunately social media gives mouth breathing dumb f***s a voice so there is sure to always be the thought of avoiding controversy by appeasing the masses by the committee. But in truth serum anyone with a partial thought process who watched Michigan State all year would say this team wasn't close to being a top 4 team. And ultimately the fans of the game were cheated to having to watch that mediocre team get absolutely annihilated in what should of been a really fun game for fans.

Shut up people. It is what it is. Stanford. Ohio State. Etc. They should have games they lost. They didn't. End of story. You all sound like women
That is accurate, but if you are on the committee you have to weigh everything as a whole. Was Michigan State a top 4 team at any point this year? The answer to that is no. They beat an Oregon team that had a QB with a broken finger who couldn't throw the ball. If he was healthy they win that game easily. They should of lost to Michigan, complete fluke win that happens maybe once a decade. Michigan State had a lot of luck, and little good play to get into the spot they did. It would of caused a lot of controversy to keep them out because in the public's eyes they are a "1 loss team" and they "just beat Ohio State" and "won the Big 10" but they beat an Iowa team that missed Michigan, Ohio State during the regular season and had the biggest cupcake schedule. It would of been ballsy, but no way Michigan State should of been in the Final 4.

OSU only lost 1 game. It's a bit rediculous to say 3 teams can lose 1 game and get in and then say they should have won the games they lost about an OSU getting in. You sound like a plebeian.

Stanford is a good team but they lost twice and if you watch these bowl games the pac 12 is weak ucla and usc got embarrassed plus stanfords defense is a joke I think they are just a good team not great by no means

Bottom line it is the committee's job to watch these teams, analysis these teams and conclude who the 4 best are. There is no evidence from actual viewing capacity that Michigan State was a top 4 team. Sometimes you have to go against the grain and make tough choices. That is their job and they failed at it.
