NFL action report: Money flowing in on the Giants

Oct 28, 2012 |
Oddsmakers are having a tough time staying ahead of Giants bettors as the Dallas Cowboys get set to host New York.

Oddsmaker Mike Perry of Sportsbook.ag told Covers he opened Dallas as 1.5-point favorites, but bettors have pushed the line all the way to Giants -3 at his book, with 90 percent of the money coming in on the G-Men.

Money has also been pouring in on the Washington Redskins. The Steelers opened as 4.5-point faves, but the line has shifted towards the Skins by only a half point, despite 70 percent of the public money flowing in on Washington to pull off the upset.

Other significant line moves include:

Carolina/Chicago: The Bears opened as 10-point favorites at most books , but have been bet down to 7.5.

Atlanta/Philadelphia: The Eagles opened as 1-point home faves, but that line has been pushed to a field goal at most online shops. With Hurricane Sandy threatening Philadelphia, the total has dropped from 47 to 42.
