Kyle Connor scored two third-period goals to help the visiting Winnipeg Jets rally for a 5-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday.

Evgeny Svechnikov had a goal and an assist for the Jets, who had lost four straight and trailed 3-2 entering the third period. Eric Comrie made 26 saves.

Jakob Chychrun, Barrett Hayton and Nick Ritchie each had a goal and an assist for the Coyotes, who had won two of three. Scott Wedgewood made 33 saves.

Winnipeg's Blake Wheeler entered the zone 2-on-1 with Mark Scheifele, kept the puck and scored on a wrist shot from the right circle to tie the score 3-3 at 3:17 of the third period.

Then, moments after Comrie robbed Phil Kessel, Svechnikov completed a pretty sequence when he passed across the slot to Connor for the go-ahead goal at 5:34.

Scheifele was awarded a penalty shot after he was pulled down by Vladislav Kolyachonok on a breakaway at 7:37, but Wedgewood made the glove save.

Connor scored into an empty net with 1:08 remaining for the 5-3 final. It was his 32nd goal of the season.

Adam Lowry scored in his second consecutive game when he deflected Nathan Beaulieu's wrist shot over Wedgewood's shoulder to give the Jets a 1-0 lead at 7:39 of the first period.

Chychrun tied the score when his one-timer from the point off a pass from Vladislav Kolyachonok got through the five hole at 10:16.

Svechnikov knocked in a loose puck 43 seconds later to put the Jets up 2-1.

Hayton tied the score at 16:40 with a great individual effort. He entered the zone on the rush, deked around a defender in the slot, then faked Comrie out of position and slid the puck home to make it 2-2.

Ritchie gave the Coyotes the lead at 13:56 of the second period. With Arizona's Loui Erikson behind the net, Comrie looked to his left. Erikson passed to Ritchie on Comrie's right and Ritchie banked the puck home off Comrie from a sharp angle.
