He shouldn't start, shouldn't be in the game, isn't worthy of "allstar status, but he was voted in per the rules. The underhanded manner in which he is being prevented from playing (now traded to the Habs) really reflects poorly on the game.
Change the rules regarding fan voting or honour the system you sold to the fans and allow Scott to play.

the fans are the joke if that is who is actually voting
The fans shouldn't be voting I think that is partly his point, with the other being if you are going to go ahead and put it in their hands then stand by your stupid decision, don't bail out on it by concocting or using some very strange trade that just so happens to bail them out. I think we can all agree we don't want to see the idiot out there but there also needs to be integrity in a system or it is nothing.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

Was just about to post about that Polar_Bear. I think the worst thing I've heard about this whole fiasco is that his wife is expecting twins soon in Arizona. Way to go NHL...

They didn't want to pay him the 100 K he would've made if the team won the all star game. His career is essentially over with this trade ordered by gary and the rest of the greedy nhl owners. If he was still in Arizona, his career would still be ongoing. I hope he hires a Greenspan lawyer and sues gary and the cosa nostra.
