>>>I am so happy they lost after that bozo move.
They deserved to lose after the Peyton choke, the horrible coverage and the Fox kneeldown. AGREE 100%+ Textbook case on how to lose a game. |

It will be more like BAL -4 by Friday, I think.

If it is Ravens -5.5, that line will drop to -3.5 or -3.0. Colts are public, and the Ravens have looked like sh!t in December.

Yes, going to go with these three favorites today:
PIT -10.0 hosting CLE. ATL -3.5 hosting TB SD -9.5 hosting OAK With news out that Scurmur is out on Monday in CLE, I'm not expecting anything from the Browns. TB has played so poorly the second half of the season that I doubt there will be a spark today. It always takes Norv Turner until December to relearn how to prepare his team for Sunday. |

They did it a few years ago and blew their momentum going into to playoffs. Also, with their coach back, I expect he wants to coach a complete game with the starters to prep for the playoffs. (Of course, I could be completely wrong on this.)

Here are the lines for those three games:
PIT -10.0 hosting CLE. ATL -3.5 hosting TB SD -9.5 hosting OAK CLE is starting T. Lewis at QB, while OAK is starting T. Pryor. ATL might treat this game as an exhibition game. Despite the large point spreads, my initial leans are with the favorites. More tomorrow. |

1PM ET games:
NYJ +3.5 (My name is Mark Sanchez, and I needed to be benched for a week. Today I will show you that I still know how to play.) CIN -2.5 (Hard to decide on this one, so I'll go with the home team, giving less than a field goal.) DET +3.0 (In Chicago, they are talking about who the next head coach will be. Not a good sign.) TEN -4.0 (For the second time this season, TEN follows up an embarrassing loss with a convincing win.) |

Season: 112-110-5.
Thank you for reading my picking exploits this season. I may have made you some money in November, only to lose it in December. Here are my picks for Week 17: Games with no lines: CLE/PIT, TB/ATL, OAK/SD. I may have something to say on Sunday, but I expect to be interested in the favorites. continued ... |

I would give it to Luck or Wilson before I give it to RG3. The Redskins can thank Cousins for two of their wins this season.

Not sure why he waded into SEA/SF. I thought that was the least convincing argument he gave on Friday.
I'm picking SF PK. |

CLE, WAS, and DAL are my suggestions.
For the most excitement: SF. |

I don't like any of them. CLE is a better home dog!

Later on Sunday:
CLE +13.0 (Yes, it's the weekly Fader DEN/Manning trap. DEN is due to play a mediocre game, and CLE has the talent to give DEN all kinds of trouble.) CHI -5.5 (OK, ARI, you got your December win. Now prepare to be smoked by a CHI team that is better than they have played lately.) NYG -2.5 (I don't like handicapping this game, with BAL as a home dog again. So, not much confidence in this pick.) SF PK (The better team wins, even though they are the visiting team.) Good luck to all! |

Sunday at 1PM:
DAL -2.5 (The Cowboys have quietly put together a nice December, as they often do. Time to jump on the train.) TEN +12.5 (Expecting a slow, messy game in cold, snowy Wisconsin.) IND -6.5 (Yes, the Colts are on the road, but I think KC is done for the season.) BUF +4.5 (Remember when BUF was considered a dark horse in the AFC? They can beat MIA this week, and NYJ next week, and pretend they had a decent season.) NYJ -2.0 (McElroy will provide a spark at home.) WAS -6.5 (I think RG3 feels a bit threatened by KC1, and he'll take it out on PHI.) CIN +3.5 (The Bengals will win this game, but if they don't, at least I have 3.5 points.) STL +3.0 (Coin flip of the week. I used to like TB a lot, but they have faded down the stretch.) OAK +9.0 (Although CAR seems to be going in the right direction, this game will be close.) NE -14.5 (I hate picking NE when they are double-digit favorite, but after last week's loss to SF, JAX will wish they had just forfeited.) MIN +8.0 (That's a lot of points to give to a possible playoff team, and HOU's defense has been shaky down the stretch.) |
