Michigan is too much for State. They were looking ahead to this game. Michigan wins PERIOD

ktrain - Agree to a certain extent. Michigan State usually does suck in the first half. However, Michigan hasn't played exactly great in the first half on the road either.

At Wisconsin up 1
At Indiana down 4
At Ohio down 12

Last year the teams were different I know. But, State had an eight point lead at halftime in that game.

Recently Sparty has failed to cover first halfs at home against Minn and Illinois, only to come out and dominate the second half.

I know that's only two games and not enough for any kind of a sample size. However, Minn and Illinois aren't nearly as good as Michigan.

It's an intriguing aspect I thought I would throw out.

out of 12 black kids from Mich - 4 are from MI
out of 12 from State & are from MI ... (that probably might have Not had the full ride to MI and may have preferred to go there...) ...

At home? Nice season?

MI is gonna run into a buzz saw at sparty tomorrow...

You through "out of 12 black kids" in there in a negative way.
White people play basketball too.
Sure there are more black players but look at the stands of fans watching. All Soft white people.
I've always said I dont understand why whites call it a black sport. A white guy invented it and a huge percentage of fans are white. Get off your behind white ppl. P.S Im white lol

White parents are weak parents over all thats a fact.
So better parenting would make stronger kids and
you would see more white guys playing sports rather then drinking beers and watching them.

White people will be slaves in 50 years at this rate.
(But not me I work hard)

No racism, just reality.

The kids that play, are black kids. That's just the truth. Sure, a white guy is thrown in there every so often, (depending on the collage) . but when you get to big time ball like this......
the kids are black.

The people in the stands don't play. (last time I checked).

and by the way, ... I am white too and I will never be any type of slave... not corporate , economic, or otherwise...

I sleep when I want and wake up when I want...always and forever....

Fair enough.

I just find it funny when some guys say its a black sport but if you look at all sports. The stars are usually black for a reason. Not because of the the colour of their skin but they have on average superior hormones then other races.
Years of slavery changed their environment and made them stronger.
As for white people years of having it easy made them more comfortable and lazy so after generations the average white male has a harder time competing in any sport UNLESS
he is a hard worker.
The genetics passed down are usually garbage. So if you dont work hard its easy to let yourself go.
Discipline is not a big part of the white culture. Im 22 and I know that. Gotta be disciplined it makes for a stronger world.

This one will come down to coaching.
Now what side would you rather be on?
Izzo (at home) or Beilein(on the rd)?

going to be interesting to see beilein's strategy for this game last time we played he had prepared for draymond green who scored 14 and pulled down 16 boards

hardaway was 1-10 from deep in this game last year the way hes been stroking it lately hard to see him having a similar game

I really think this is going to come down to turnovers and whether MSU can limit them. They will control the boards and Michigan is tops in the country at limiting turnover so they won't be giving the ball away much. MSU has tendencies to play sloppy at times and turn the ball over. If Sparty can limit the turnovers, to probably 10 or less, then they will win.

For the idiots who don't uncle slims statement..basically he sayin the state players got passed up by Michigan..so they might be out to prove a point tonight, to let Michigan know they made a mistake in not recruiting them.

Mich takes this. They always bounce back after a loss. Top rank teams usually do.

I mentioned this in another thread.

Hardaway was 1-10 from the field, and 0-3 from 3pt land

Now was it a bad day?
Was it good defense?

We'll see. My thinking is that yes, Izzo , has different personnel to work with, I would assume he would try to implement a similar strategy. My fav coach in NCAA.....Should be a doozie
