***I actually had 5 right last night.  Cerrone won and the fight played out as I had envisioned.***

YTD Record:
Overall: 61-64-1, -5.70 Units ,
UFC: 45-40-1, -0.60 Units ,
Strikeforce: 6-5, +2.85 Units
Bellator: 10-19, -7.50 Units ,
Final 2011 Record: 148-132-3, +123.55 Units
Final 2010 Record: 115-119-3, +11.25 Units
Final 2009 Record: 80-82-1, +23.75 Units

My math was wrong here.  I lost -11.1 units on UFC on Fox 3 and this should actually have been -1.05, not -0.60.

I knew Jung had a ground game.  I just thought Poirier would be able to keep the fight standing and light up Jung in the standup.  However, even in the standup, Jung was winning most of the exchanges...

Overall, a very forgettable night from a handicapping standpoint...

I thought Poirier was supposed to have the advantage on the ground, and I definitely thought he had more submissions on his resume...Am I wrong on that?  At the very least Poirier was supposd to be the better wrestler/grappler...Korean Zombie was absolutley dominant...Vegas didn't see that one coming either.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't beat yourself up if I were you.  Luck does come into play with this stuff.  Just get back on that horse for UFC 146...it's right around th corner.  I'm loving JDS, but who doesn't?...Mark Hunt at -135 feels like a huge play.  His hands are so hard it's ridiculous...and his take-down d seems more than competent at this point...

It is hard not to feel beat up when stuck in such a bad losing streak....

Yes, JDS is likely to win...

Still not sure what to make of Hunt vs Struve.  Hunt has definitely been working on his takedown defense, but I am fairly confident that if Struve is able to get this to the ground, he will be able to tap Hunt.

The problem for Struve is that Browne, Nelson and JDS have basically paved the way to show how to beat Struve, which is basically bull rush forward swinging.  If Hunt does the same, he probably wins.  The longer this fight goes, the more it will swing into Sturve's favour.

Actually just started to read rumours that Hunt is injured and is being replaced by Lavar Johnson...

I'm guessing Lavar will be a decent-sized fave based on how he absolutely dominated Barry.  The other play I like on this card, based on the odds, is Miocic -160...he looks tough, strong and well-rounded to me...

Finally, what about the Cormier fight...that's a real tough one, but, something tells me barnett will trip him down and sit on top of him, and that will be all she wrote...
