I'm embarrassing myself here Van, but what happens if multiple guys end the tourny with the same number of goals scored? I assume its an all-around push. I couldn't find this contingency on a prop/future bet anywhere in the rules of the site where I placed the bet.

Oregon's offense is challenging to defend because of the pace, play calling, confusion it creates, and high level execution of the QB. The RBs and WRs are just names and numbers on jerseys. One is as good as another.

It was unbelievable that they didn't measure, but it was just deserts because I thought it was pretty clear that he had picked it up on 3rd down and got a bad spot.
Van, i send you an email when you get the chance. Take your time. |

That 1992 team was a great defense. That play George Teague made, wow. Think it was against Lamar Thomas, but can't remember now.

Miami 2001 is my answer. Their defensive yards per play was 27.7 which is an incomprehensible number. 16-18 is good as a point of comparision, 19-21 is great. LSU was about 23 last year, Bama was 22.5 last year. Miami was almost 28!
They only had two games all year that weren't blowouts, so even with whole games of garbage time and playing teams who were trailing and needed to pass to catch up, and yet no one could do anything, couldn't gain yards or score points. The roster was just amazing at all three levels of the defense, size, speed, quality and depth. Nebraska 96 and USC 04 were exceptional as well. I take nothing away from Alabama last year, but they aren't my choice. |

We're close here, I got Germany and I lean to Spain but took the OVER instead just in case Portugal gets a goal. Unlike you I don't think Spain can play 90 without scoring.

Corley, you have a good handle on this team. Haven't disagreed with you yet in this thread. Look for this to be the best UO defense (in particular the front 7) in quite sometime, maybe since the early part of the last decade with Haloti Ngata and Igor Olshanky. Dion Jordan is a strong contender for conference DPOY.

Don't forget UMass at UConn on Thursday.
I would think you see the Huskies somewhere around 2 touchdowns. |

San Diego backers took a horrendous beat. The gambling gods owe you one if you had that ticket.

Jay Kornegay is the only person out of all those people worth listening to, and even at that, its his job to put out a betable line, not necessarily what he believes.
Phil Steele is a pro at gathering info, his picks are mediocre. Everyone else up there is a donkey who would have no shot of hitting 52.38% over a season. |

Cover 2 impacts vertical passing teams. Oregon is not a vertical passing team, Kiffin's defense was non-existant last season. Ducks went through them like swiss cheese. Same happens again this year.
USC needs drives that result in scores to stay in this game. If half their trips come up empty like Stanford did, you can forget about this one. The meteorologists here in the state are some of the worst in the country, so I wouldn't read a lot into the snow rumors. With that said, the weather is going to be really really nasty. Mid to low 30s and raining. Slight advantage for UO based on weather, but not as big an edge as is the personnel and scheme. |

I can see why everyone likes Arizona. They've looked so dominant against the last two Top Ten teams they've played.
GL this week Wahoo! I lean WMU as well, but as usual I'm waiting for the ML to go up. |

This game is going to be close I hope ALL players play for both teams. By the way who is your team BA?
OREGON
There are plenty of reasons to think UO can win, but let's see if we can do better than comparative scoring. I expect that from a sports talk host, I don't expect that from a forum of educated handicappers. |

Coaching edge hugely in favor of Boise, don't leave that out of your analysis regardless of what you think about the players.
