Very surprised Virginia Tech lost SU. I think they blew chances early to jump out to a big lead. Was definitely wrong about that game, liked UNC originally so I only played Tech small.

Again, guys... I didn't make this thread to bring up a sore subject for any of you guys. I respect the hell out of most of you and sometimes we just lose a game - it happens. I just thought it was kind of ironic that UNC actually won that game outright and thought we'd get over it with a little humor....
I know I didn't post anything, but I ended up playing UNC +16 (bought the hook) for 2 units, over 43 for 2 units. Then, at halftime a buddy calls and says, "take Tech -9.5 and over 20." So, I did that for 10 units a piece because I was drinking. All told, I lost 1 unit in juice.

People, when you win a wager, act like it is not the first time you have done so. Amateurs...
As far as the game goes, the one lesson I learned was to probably lay off the ACC for the rest of the year. This conference is so bad that you can throw just about every stat, angle, trend, or power rating right out the window. Most of the teams in the ACC are under .500 ATS. The hot team is Ga. Tech, who is 5-0 ATS after an 0-2 start.

bigdaddy, i have to agree with you... what a garbage ass conference. i won a little money on clemson last week but gave it away last night on va tech. i think one of the main reasons i took va tech is because unc screwed me last weekend when they blew a huge lead against another horrible team... i told myself "there is no way im putting my money on that shit qb yates." then of course, the other shit qb taylor screws me... go figure. it happens... hopefully tonight i will be on the right side of things.

lines move more on "who" bets them vs the amt bet on them. takes alot more public money to move a line than sharp money. that's one reason why u see the public all on one side but line go the other way. they got sharp action on the other side. the books respect that action and will move the line accordingly
