I have to say that it wouldn't shock me to see OKC squeaking out a win tonight against the Lakers.
I don't if it's the fact that the Lakers have been rolling red hot lately, or maybe the fact that Thunder look like a mediocre team at best this year. Kobe can score with broken fingers. Kevin Durant struggling lately. Lakers 9-1 in their last 10. Thunder 4-6 in their last 10. Also consider that the Thunder lost in L.A. earlier this year as well by 16 points on a relatively similar spread(Lakers -10.5). Well... It just all seems way too easy tonight to take the Lakers here.
Me smells an upset or at least a close game tonight.

i think the thunder are outmatched at every position and lakers have a huge advantage at the center spot but it does look to easy to back the lakers, im leaning over cause the only chance okc have to win is to run alot cause they will get dominated in the low post and halfcourt game... tough one but im gonna ride with the over i think... gl chris...

Here's another thing to think about. It might be nothing, but in my years of NBA betting, I notice this happens quite a bit...
The Thunder are +9 dogs tomorrow against the Phoenix Suns. Now right now, that really doesn't mean much. It is what is. But imagine the reaction this line would get if the Thunder win tonight against the Lakers. Considering the Suns recent poor play, and the fact that they finally lost at home to Cleveland in ugly fashion the other day... I think people would be all over the Thunder in that scenerio.
Look back to last year if you will. The Bobcats pulled out an upset win against the Lakers as +11 dogs and were in Portland the next night as +11.5 dogs. Because Charlotte was able to get that win in L.A., The Bobcats got a lot more action then they normally would have simpily due to the fact that people thought it was too many points. Result? Portland wins and covers.
Hell, look back to Philly @ Boston. Philly pulls an upset win over the Celtics and the next day they are -3.5 favorites against a Clippers team that just blew a 20 point lead against the lowly Knicks. As expected, the 76ers got a ton of action in that game. And as expected, the 76ers lost that game.

I think this will be the typical Lakers coming out nonchalant against a "lesser opponent" in which the road dogs cover the 1H and the Lakers cover the 2H spread by 10+ points to cover the full game.

great info.... gluck chris...lakers home after a long road trip also, which included 2 b2b's... they had a day and a half off leading up to tonight's game but they could come out a little slow

Line's gone down to PHX -8.5
In any case, what Canada_Chris just pointed out is perfect NBA betting
logic. The house is always on the lookout for massive one-sided plays,
and it is damn near accurate in dishing out lines for them.
