All well in front, should go on to win vs inferior opponents.
All give up the lead in the last 5 minutes of the game.
2 games go to OT
All 3 of them, the favorite gets the game winning shot as the last shot of the game.
3 favorites win, don't cover.
What are the odds of this happening 3 times in 1 day????? Exact same scenario. The odds would be astronomical.
the best part is.. the books win on all three! Most people would have been on the favorite line or the ML. If this sh.it isnt rigged in some way, i dont know any other way to explain this. Ive never been a conspiracy theorist on rigged sport but after today, this convinces me that there is no way this happened by chance today. Whether its the refs, players.. i dont know but this cr@p is beyond comprehension for me.

don't be stupid the NBA is not rigged, its a game of runs, and some teams get lazy when they get leads, while some teams never stop scrapping and fighting. Enough of the conspiracy theories, Vegas is always gonna win the day regardless of if they lose out on a couple of games

I don't buy that. Houston lazy? Man its Minnesota! They have a d league team. I could underatand lazy if houston was up by 30 and wins by 10.. but to almost lose the game and then 1 shot in OT. Absolute garbage.

Houston, like most teams, are prone to lapses in concentration, I mean did you see when Harden just threw the ball out of bounds thinking that the ref was a teammate? And he's meant to be a top5 player in the NBA making mistakes like that? It happens bruh, some teams do lose a little edge once they have a lead...Teams that keep fighting, like the Wolves, Sixers and esp the Magic are good bets to cover right now...A lot of these trends I'm only just picking up on as I haven't bet seriously in over 10years. One thing I have been doing and experiencing moderate success is in-game betting on teams once they go down by double digits, if I like their chances of fighting back, I mean the league really is a game of runs, for example a team like GS is so dangerous because of their ability to rattle off a 10-0 run within a minute or so...I truly dont think there is anything fixed about the NBA, I know there is crazy stuff happening daily that really makes you think that it might be, we see it all the time, but it really is part of the game...

I've thought about doing live bets mid game.. maybe 1/2 time bets on the team thats down. get the Juicy odds and ride it. Because most games.. we know the team that's down is going to come back.. unless it's Philadelphia. IS this the sort of thing you bank on? It seems like a good tactic. Because I'm fed up with teams giving up leads. Maybe I should look at doing 1st half bets too, because usually what I pick is up at the 1/2 but somehow loses the game.

heres the problem. even if its rigged, you will still bet on it.
Yeah I've been betting on NBA for about 4 years now. So not a long time, but long enough to know how this sh't works and experiencing all the cra.p we get put through. And just like the game itself, I have a run of wins, followed by a run of losses...
considering trying something different after today. Maybe go for bigger odds like dog ML plays. A lot of the time they win, so might be worth a shot.

U ever ask yourself, "what happens to the player if he missed that meaningless 3 pt that screwed u"
Ever ask that?
U think the mod or who ever is fixing it would be like " We had 35M on this game, but its ok..."
shows u never played a sport in ur life
I've played plenty of sport, but I've never played a sport with money waged on it while I was playing.
You think the bet would be on them to hit the meaningless 3? If you read my post, I have discussed 3 teams who are superior to their opponents who have played down to their level and won at the last minute.
It's hard to ensure to cover a line.. but to not cover a line.......... don't think its that hard to do man... Just need to miss some shots, and it's good.

I've played in games where money is wagered, and Ive also played in and seen fixed games, it was not a great pro league and could be susceptible to it happening once a season, but it did happen a couple of times. It has happened briefly in the NBA but not with players involved, only refs, and looking back at those games it was quite obvious (the Donaghy games in question). And in other sports, especially cricket, the game is very corruptible. But I can honestly say, I don't think NBA is fixed right now in anyway. There are so many random things that happen over the course of the game that may make it appear that way, meaningless buckets ruining the spread at the end of the game etc, but the players and coaches really don't care about the spread and probably don't even pay any attention to it at all. The refs are under such scrutiny that they would be to scared to even try something like that anymore, so its really just part of the game. In-game betting doesn't always workout, but if you know the indicators it can really help you hedge and recover some earlier bets. Also, something else I've had a little bit of success on is in-game parlays, the thing is, you can cash out before the last game if you're unsure. For example yesterday I managed to get get Atl-2.5(just before they went on an epic run), Spurs-2.5, Celts -5.5 and Rockets -7.5. Now the first two were still in the first quarter, but both teams looked really strong so had a good feeling already about them, the Celts I thought were a strong lock after a good first half and the Lakers played the night b4, and the Rockets came out really strong in the first quarter...However, then the Rockets started showing lapses of concentration and the Wolves started to show their hunger in the 2nd even gaining the lead, so I was looking at this game to get out of the parlay once the Rockets built any type of lead. So in the 4th quarter when they were up by 11 I cashed out, and still got 7/1 return on my $20bet. While it wasn't the 12/1 odds I could have had if the Rockets beat the spread, I just wasn't convinced that they would hold that lead, I don't trust that team at all, so things like that can save your day. I won on OKC first half but lost the fulltime spread by a point and lost a grip on NCAA earlier, so it helped negate a bad day...One trend I also like is in the First Quarter, road teams usually come out just that little bit harder than the home team, not always, but more than not, so keep an eye on that trend too. Still developing my system, but I do like in-gaming, because of the nature of this game, big runs do happen all the time, so keep that in mind and see if you can make it work.

Did you know that at the end of a Clipper's game last season Griffin scored an unnecessary last-second basket and during the post-game interview he said "I probably did Vegas a favor by scoring that last one".
If you don't believe that NBA is scripted, you are either 1. a young little boy or 2. a very naive person.

go find one ex-player in the L who can confirm your suspicions, just one...
First you find me a WWE actor/actress who admits that their "sport" is scripted. People take for granted that American pro wrestling is scripted BUT books still allow people to wager money on this so called sport. How can this be?

The other thing is look at many of these players backgrounds. I hate to racially stereotype, but it's a fact that many of them are from poor backgrounds. They would have 1000's of friends and relatives living in poor conditions. No doubt they would give friends and relatives tips on what to bet on to help them out. It wouldn't surprise me if they rigged their own prop bets in this way. It's weird how one game a guy can score 30+ going 15/20. But the next game that same guy scores 6 going 3/20. And isnt it weird when entire teams cannot hit a shot one night.. next night they cant miss from 3 point range. Too suspucious.

You wouldn't believe it, even if you knew. All u need to know is that there is tooooo much money involved to allow pure talent to determine the outcome. Everybody would be rich.

Dude that is soooo dumb! You've clearly never played sport in your life! I've personally had games where I score 20+ points, then follow it up with 5 points. I've had games where I hit 5/6 3's, then follow it up with 0/5. No point even explaining it any further if you don't get that concept... Lots of dumb posts in this particular thread but this was the dumbest! Also in regards to your original post where you (stupidly) ask "what are the odds of this happening?" - you're asking the wrong question. NBA is played essentially every day for months and months with an average of 8-10 games per day. The odds of something like that NOT happening are astronomical. Anything and everything will happen in a given season. Teams will win by 50, games will go to triple OT, some days 3 teams will go to OT. Some days 5 games will be decided by 1 shot. It's simple math - over a large sample size, LOTS of crazy shiit will occur!

Charlotte has a reputation of screwing up big leads the few times they got them (wish i paid more attention to that detail).
Houston has a skeleton crew of players and got the ultimate punch from minny because they were embarrassed against the sixers. Rockets have no margin for error with the injuries they have.
Sacramento also is struggling without Cousins in the lineup. No flow, lapses in defense.
Unfortunately, the way these covers are lost are brutal for the backers, but their performances can be explained without any conspiracies.

It's the parity of teams out there and who is hot....
I see more cappers whine when they lose on a close game on this forum.
It pisses me off when the refs throw a flag in the last 2 minutes off the game to give advantage to the team that I'm betting against and the outcome it's totally obvious.
Take Florida St 2. half last weekend....got burned for 6 units and that's what YOU call is RIGGED!
