OK. Don't post much, but I'm on here reading everyday and taking in others opinions. NBA is my favorite, and most profitable sport to wager on. I'm going to try keeping a post going with write ups for all of my NBA plays. Most games are flat bet, 1 unit=50. I hit the Lakers under yesterday but will not count that as I did not post it. On to tonights card...
Detroit Pistons @ Indiane Pacers -8
Detroit and Indiana will open up their seasons in Indiana as these division foes look to start strong. Detroit's biggest move was resigning Prince and Stuckey. A big loss for them however was losing Rip Hamilton who was their most consistent scoring threat and a great defender. I'm interested to see how Greg Monroe has progressed over the summer.
Indiana is a team a lot of people are expecting to make some noise this season. I feel the Pacers with Hansborough, Hibbert, and new addition David West will really dominate inside and on the glass. Prince will be checking Granger for most of the game which is a good matchup, but I'm looking for Granger to really lead this team now that there will be less pressure for him to have big scoring nights each game. Also, Roy Hibbert may be developing into the best under the radar center in the game.
Look for a great matchup at PG with Stuckey and Collison. Stuckey has had some good games vs DC in the past. The real advantage in this game will come to the bench. Indiana has been grooming a lot of young talent for years and this may be the year a lot of them start to come together. With the bench, rebounding advantage and home court I easily can see Indiana winning by 10-15. Notice Rip Hamilton's numbers vs the pacers in years past-he is not there, now there is more pressure on stuckey and prince to score, and Prince is not a pure scorer as rip was. This game should be close early, but look for indy to pull away.
another thing to look for is Ben Gordon and his activity level-if he is pouting again this year Detroit could be in for a longer season than expected.

OKC Thunder -5 @ Timberwolves
Man I gotta say that I hate making "square plays" like this but early in the season, in any sport, you can catch the books off. I think this line is low because of OKC playing last night and the travel factors. However, OKC is far too much on the perimeter for Minnesota to handle. Minnesota is strong inside with Kevin Love and Beasley, I'm interested to see what Brad Miller's role is going to be. Either way, Perkins and Ibaka should be able to neutralize Minn on the glass.
As all teams, Minnesota will have their hands full with KD. I feel like you will see a lot of beasley and Derrick Williams on KD. Williams may be the best matchup but thats an awful tough assignment for your first game ever.
At PG its going to be fun to see if Ricky Rubio can keep up, offensively I think he will be fine but defensively he has a long way to go. Look for Westbrook to really exploit him and create a lot of offense inside of the lane. Barea's stock is very high but again will have trouble dealing with Russell.
With OKC one of their most underrated players is James Harden. When he can contribute OKC has maybe the most balanced starting 5 in the league.
People are expecting things to start to turn around for the T wolves but their youth and inexperience will not be able to handle OKC even if it is on a back to back. I don't see these back to back games being a big issue until the end of January. OKC's travel wasn't too far and despite their age they're much more mature than years past and show be able to play like professionals and win by atleast 5.
