For those of you that use public percentages to either make a play or stay away from a play....I went through the first 3-4 pages of the forum and this is what the public (yes, we are the public) has tonight. I'm listing what the forum is on HEAVY.

SF/Cin: Latos has great numbers against the Giants. Will the ballpark make a big difference as SD/SF parks play much bigger. Latos has been shit this year however. Cain is Cain. Had a rough outing in Arizona but otherwise alright. SF is coming off a DH yesterday. Bats are rolling but that may be a better reflection of the Mutts pitching.
Fish/Mutts: Johnson has not been Johnson so far this year. Is everybody betting on his return to form? He's due? Marlins bats run hot and cold. Fish pen/closer stinks. Mutts are in the tank at the plate already. Ike Davis has no clue at the plate right now. Duda is the cleanup guy and is hitting around .200. So can D. Wright beat Johnson by himself? Mutts pen has been solid. How long can Santana go? Will he pitch more like his first start or his last?
Nats/Pads: You would think the pitching matchup would go to the Nats....they've been dominant. Starters and relievers. Why open at only 110 for the Nats? Nats offense is in rough shape right now. Pads offense was pretty good against the Phills. Richard pitches fairly well at home. Last game of the night....everybody needing the Nats to fill out their parlays....seems too easy.
Tribe/KC: Tribe ain't hitting for shit right now. What will Lowe have tonight? He is certainly hittable. KC has the advantage with the bats I would think. Sanchez can be dominant if he has his control. Royals pen/closer sucks.
Rangers/Yanks: Darvish has control issues. His BB rate is atrocious. The yanks are not going to swing at his garbage. They are too disciplined at the plate. Darvish isn't challenging anyone with his fastball either. So a bunch of walks to a lineup that can hit the long ball/xbase hits....Does Kuroda bounce back tonight? Bullpens are a draw I would think but Yanks have ABSOLUTELY KILLED Nathan in the past. Over a better play?
Just some random thoughts. I'll probably be on the Royals and Yanks tonight with the Yanks over. Mets bats scare me too much right now to back them. Reds may be a good play also.

Thanks doc, I think those percentages are interesting. I appreciate the fact that you provided them for us.
I always suspect that most of us are looking at the same data, thus we'll have some days where we have obvious mismatches. While the very best of us are not overvaluing SPs, we're still suspectible to error, as any team can beat another on any given day (see Cardinals/Cubs last night).

Latos' home numbers against the Giants are basically irrelevant considering they have all occurred at Petco. Obviously much of the Giants' personnel is the same, but there's a tremendous difference between pitching in Petco rather than GABP.
