Yesterday's Recap: 4-1
= Atlanta ML, Pads Live ML, Rangers +1.5, D-Backs ML
= Yankees ML
I was very fortunate to have another great day going 4-1. I am really hoping to keep this momentum up.
I wanted to thank everyone that has been posting their opinions in my thread. It means a lot to me that you take the time to share how you feel about my plays.
Before I get to my plays
I wanted to clear this up... I don't lock in my bets until 10 minutes before the game starts.(unless its a heavy favorite and I expect the line to move quite a bit)
Now while I don't recommend anyone blindly tailing me, if you are going to do it, make sure to at least check my thread through out the day. Not only do I add additional plays but sometimes I change them as well. For example, I changed the Ranger ML pick to Ranger +1.5 today. The people that don't read through the thread missed that and tailed my initial pick which lost.
I have been capping the games for the last few hours and as of now, I only have one that's ready. The rest will be put up in the morning.
Phillies ML
I really like Philly in this match up. They have owned this series, winning 8 of the last 10 games against San Diego.
-Philly is sending 11-5, 2.71 ERA, Cole Hamels to the mound. He has been very solid and I see him out doing Cory Luebke, who is 3-3 with a 2.57 ERA.
-Philly is 5-2 in Hamels' last seven starts against San Diego.
-The Phillies are also 6-4 in their last 10 games and currently on a 2 game winning streak.
-Philly is 34-15 at home this season.. compared to the 20-30 road record that the Pads have.
San Diego just got done spanking Florida 3 games in a row. Now while that may sound impressive... Florida was not playing very well at all. The Marlins offense was nearly non-existent .Also, Before those 3 wins, the Pads had gone a horrible 1-6.
Bottom line, I think the Phillie's offense will be too much for San Diego to handle. Add in the facts that Philly has the better pitcher AND San Diego is a horrible 0-7 in their last 7 road starts against a left handed starter.... and this has the makings of a bloodbath.
