street is out for this game. he threw in last nights game
Thanks, butters.
I just list all of the bullpen nowadays. That's one aspect of handicapping where i'm not 100% certain. Some longmen i know are due up but some gets re-used depending on certain situations.
Ie, the Cubs, on Wednesday, used Howry and Marmol in relief. I saw Kerry Wood warming up. Then, with the Cedeno grand-slam and a no-save situation, Kevin Hart ended up closing the game.
So, for the Rockies game, i knew Jon Lieber, Wuertz, Marshall and Kerry Wood was due. But as the game went into extra innings, Lou P had to re-use Howry and Marmol.

Why not ride the streak? This is a situation where you value sticks over heaters. Cubs have 7-8 guys in the lineup with OB% of .400-plus and the Rockies bats are flat coming out this dugout this season. You win money with Marquis early in the season and then fade him after the break. Bad spot for Aaron Cook if you consider his day and righties split.
Later games: I'm taking a look at Joe Saunders versus a rookie, the young Sonnanstine who derailed the White Sox offense, and another chance to fade Chad Billingsley. And of course, an almost sure-fire prop wager on SFO/SDG No Score 1st Inning.

hey Happy how long have you been using bioplays....I used to follow a guy who had the stats for years....very detailed, interesting stuff do you keep all your records? I may be able to share some old e-mails if you would be interested.

indiobear - I've been using biorhythms for Fall of 2006. In the Fall of 2007 i started incorporating ephemeris astrology.
I can't recommend a site where you can learn about planet alignments and stuff like that. It is quite an esoteric subject but i do have a software and system for defining certain readings as it pertains to competitive sports.
I use the bio charts to see if a pitcher will have his command or not. Then i run an ephemeris chart to see if its a fortunate or beneficial day for the pitcher or not.
Its very psuedoscientific and not 100% correct but hey, i did predict a Boston Red Sox sweep over the Rockies last October.
I guess you can say its not a fortunate day for Francisco Liriano today. 2/3 of an inning and he's knocked out.

I'll be at the game in a Sox uniform but betting on the Yankees to sweep. Hughes will outlast Floyd barely and they both will get pounded and THEN I would take my chance with Jaba over any of those bastards in the Sox bullpen.
It's seriously 44% Yankees fans at these games too.

UNDY - Yeah dude. I was at both fields this week and there were even a lot of Yankees and Mets fans doing a double-header at the Tuesday Cubs day-game. Needless to say, lots of New Yawkers left that Cubs game early.

BUT....If you're gonna say "Phil Hughes vs Gavin Floyd" and then make a fullgame bet...and THEN make a fullgame runline bet...well, that's just bad karma man.....
I really hope that you cash these two....but you can't be backing away from those 5-inning bets...you're a big part of this forum and your addition to the 5-inning parade is important....
