My question comes on the heels of this Sum 41 guitarist going into the hospital because "his liver and kidneys shut down".
Not a fan of Sum 41's music at all, but just how much alcohol on a per day basis does it take to make a man's liver tap out in his early 30's?
You hear about alcohol burying rockstars going back to the 60's, but no one ever talks about the quantities involved.....has anybody out there partied with rockstars or been around someone whom has blown out their insides before age 35 on alcohol? Just how much booze were they drinking? Is it the combo of booze and drugs that shred the liver and kidneys?
I ask the question, because I have been a regular (sometimes excessive) weekend warrior since age 22....I am now 34 and have a clean bill of health, more fit than I have ever been, and am admittedly curious of just how much booze someone has to drink in order to shred their insides by 34.
The human body is incredibly resilient before age 40.....seems to me like it would take a literal ocean of liquor to destroy it at 34; any stories or insights are much appreciated.
