I have a few Buck knives, as well as a few CRKT. The Clash is my favorite, and it's not even close. It's a steal at $50. Love me a good knife.
Good to know... Chicks dig the "knife guy"... A must party wear item.. Right up there with "key guy".... Good for hanging with the Duck Dynasty guys... To each his own as they say..

Nice. Have a pretty amazing collection of handmade steel knives from Argentina.
Switch blades are tough to come by in the states. Have one and it's illegal hardcore. U.S Customs never noticed the spring wide open in the steak knife set. Full blown no retract spring switch is a helluva a weapon if chit hits the fan. Either way, shoot ém instead.

It's like cycling a 12 guage pump when you switch. Blade is there before some freak can get his hands out of his pockets. Knife fights never go well for anybody but that snap makes ém run.
Best option in any scenario is just run.

Spyderco Endura serrated. Clips to the inside of my hip pocket so it's concealed. Best thing about Spyderco is the patented circle hole in the blade. Thumb fits perfectly and I can have that knife out of my pocket and opened in the blink of an eye.

Machete.
Just kidding.
Once on the (then) Military channel they had a VS competition among Special Operations forces from around the world.
It cam down to US Army SF Russian Spetsnaz (SF).
Spetsnaz won the whole thing because of a neat little weapon they had, looked like an old K-Bar but its' blade is spring loaded.
They did a demo and when a Russian with this knife was told to raise his hands he still had the knife, moved his wrist a little and the blade went flying.
I want one of those,, anyone else?

Never even think about my knife as a weapon even though it certainly would serve that purpose. It's just a tool. I carry it every day just like my wallet and car keys.
There was this one time...
Was on the job and a bunch of us were standing around talking. For some reason this one guy was talking shiit about me (I dunno, I just seem to be an azzhole magnet who attracts these characters) and I was just taking it and laughing along. One of the other guys said, "C'mon Mike, you're not just going to take all this shiit, are you?"
I reached into my right front pocket and had my Spyderco opened and about eight inches in front of the big mouths face in the blink of an eye. Funny as hell, the guy jumps back about six feet and kept on walking. And I just said, "What's with him? I'm only cleaning my fingernails".
Moral of Story is that when you are in a situation, Be Quick, Hit First and Hit Hard. And that doesn't always mean physically. You can mentally diffuse a situation as well with Shock and Awe.
And yes, as said above, I'd much rather have my knife than be without it in a tough situation.
