Rivalry, like MSU/ND is always tight. Robinson is Michigans entire offense as everyone knows. Lots of short passes. Look for Jones to spy all day. Michigan D is atrocious. Spartans balanced attack will wear them down and keep Robinson off the field. Lay the Lumber

UM hasn't faced a decent D to date. I don't think they can continue to try to outscore their opponents while insisting on playing no D. Their special teams (specifically FG kicking) is bad, their D is even worse.
MSU is too balanced. I had a bad feeling they would beat my Badgers and they did. Expect Bell/Baker/Caper to eat up the clock and Cousins to stretch the field all day on play action.

line now 4.5 should go down to 3.5 or 4 then book it
Good luck to all MICHIGAN BACKERS

This game should tell a lot about Michigan. This is the 2nd Big 10 game and the road will begin to get tougher . I will go with Michigan at home in this game.

Keep in mind that MSU hasn't played a game outside the state of Michigan so far. Even their "road" game was at Ford Field against Florida Atlantic. I think it will be close, but I see Michigan with one too many big plays. If MSU tries to get into a shootout with UofM, they will have some trouble keeping up.
Like I said, I'm not playing this game because I am a UofM fan and just don't like having to worry about winning $ and them winning the game. But the way I see it is that last year it took MSU in OT to beat UofM. Obviously UofM's defense was better last year (not saying much) but their offense is much better this year. I think those two cancel out. I think the momentum swings UofM's way and they take this by a TD.

MichiganState played very well last week against a very solid ball team from Madison Wisconsin.I was really impressed with the amount of speed and quickness in the Spartans secondary and linebacking core which should have gotten more credit for that tough victory against the Badgers than their offensive unit.
Michigan Wolverines was able to get out of Bloomington Indiana with a last minute win, however there is NO doubt in my mind Denard Robinson intentionally, for what ever reason, took his foot of the gas to keep that game a lot closer than it should have (he played like he knew what the spread was).If YOU look back closely at that game, outside of a few “bone head” penalties, the much maligned banged up Michigan defensive unit did an outstanding job against a QB and receiving core that played out of their minds.
With the spread this tight, the Heisman Trophy candidate frontrunner will NOT have the luxury of taking his foot of the gas in this match up.I look for that massive BIG BLUE offensive line to blow the Spartans front four off the line of scrimmage and open up running lanes for the most dynamic running QB in the NCAA we have had the pleasure of watching since Michael Vick was in Blacksburg Virginia.Michigan covers up to 6½ in front of 110,000+ for state bragging rights. Thanks!

Michigan backers, sorry, please tell me what I am missing here? You have the 103rd ranked D in the nation... The 120th passing D, It does not get any worst then that. Michigan St just beat Wisconsin which you are not as good as... Just because you are at home you think the you will win? Please...
This is easy, write it down... Michigan St win without any points, take the ML

Wisconsin is a run based team.. Michigan has a more balanced attack.. Not only is Denard Robinson leading the nation in rushing, he is also 3rd in pass efficiency.. so not only will Michigan State have to defend the run, they'll have to defend the pass as well.. n if you don't think that home-field advantage in a rivalry game is a big factor, then you shouldn't be capping..

I think its hilarious that at the beginning of the season UM was expected to have lil to no improvement than last year. Now the beat up on 3 community college teams, Notre Dame (which they should have lossed if the QB didnt sit for a 1/2) and Indiana who is not good at all.... cmon. Its the same story every year since Rich Rod has been here... 4-0 and then 0-7 whatever the rest of the way. I have watched this game every year and attended most of the tailgating parties... bottom line... THROW OUT ALL THE STATS prior to this game.... they dont matter. This game is played every year on PURE EMOTION and HATE for the other.
The only true stat you can go by is that this game is played in Ann Arbor which may give UM's one man show a slight edge.
The real funny thing is if UM wins, we will all be talking about a Big Ten championship and how they might come close to beating OSU....yeah right... The bubble gets popped today!
This game is and will be decided on a TD or less...probably the last to have the ball.
I have a 3 team teaser (10points) with MSU +15/Minn +30.5/ & UM/MSU over 54) take that to the Bank.
