Took it on the chin last week then compounded it with a bad sunday. Arizona St. Pulled my ass out of the fire with a straight up win and also had them parlayed...
Really could use a good week this week looking to shrink my card and only play a few games...Insight on these three would be appreciated
EMich@Purdue(-24)...Eastern Michigan is coming off a home loss to Illinois St. 31-14. Their first 2 games they have allowed 68pts while being outgained by 353 yards in the 2 games combined by Illinois St. and Ball St. I have no doubt that they suck. Purdue's play here will determine how much they win by...are they mature enough to get over a heartbreaking loss to ND and come out and take care of business against the Eagles? Or is this the type of game they sleep walk through and take 24-14? I'm Boilers here
Va.Tech@Pittsburgh(-10)...I know I know Pittsburgh has looked like shit the first two weeks. I was hoping to get 2 TDs with this line, but it came out at 12 and has since moved to 10. Virginia Tech "rarely" blows teams D-1A teams out. They beat Arkansas St. last yr 26-7 and Marshall 30-10, Duke 14-10 and ECU 17-10 when they were a lot bigger favs. 3 of those 4 were on the road. Pitt has a lot more talent then they have shown and if their ever was a time a team played for pride it would be right here. I think VA.Tech wins this game, but I believe its a 1 score game. Now I might just have to try to get stomach the fact that I may be betting on a team who got housed at home by Youngstown St. Lean Toward Pitt.
Cal@Ohio St.(-17) and Over 52.5....The Golden Bears can Score and they could also get lit up by just about anyone. Allowing 31 in back to back games against Nevada and Southern Utah proves that. The Buckeyes have started slow the passed two games, but have closed with a flourish. Leaning Bucks and Over here...A lot of people have been on OSU the past two games while I have stayed clear, might have to jump in here.
TCU(-21)@Kansas...Great. Had was thinking of this one a few weeks ago and then Kansas goes out and lays an egg against Rice. TCU is 21 pts better then Kansas, but on the road in this spot with the Jayhawks coming off a humiliating loss....its a lot of pts to lay on the road to a major conference team. Lean TCU, but would love more input from others.
Will prob be on three of them...Insight would be much appreciated.

I'm from Pittsburgh and a Pitt fan, but I HATE them. You know what I mean? It's tough to watch Tino Sunseri at QB BUT I think the team is better than they've showed the first two games. I was leaning Pitt +10 on this one, but couldn't pull the trigger. Also leaning Purdue -24 but don't feel good enough for it.

Pitt season ticket holder here, I have Va Tech as a strong play this week, couldn't believe I only had to give up 10 points. I get Pitt is due, but their problems can't be fixed in a week! It will take Cryst 2-3 years to turn this around. They are giving up 200+ yards rushing a game! Their D-Line and Linebackers STINK! O-Line shaky at best! Problem is, that is all they have, remember, they have lost their last two recruiting classes because of the coaching fiascoes!
YSU ran for 204, what do you think Va Tech will go for? Pitt scored 10 total points against Cin last week, they lost their whole D-Line from last year and still sacked Sunseri 6 TIMES!
For the love of god, DO NOT BET ON PITT, there are bettter bets on the board this week.

Of your games to watch, I love TCU, and I think the over in Cal/Ohio St is very strong. The Purdue QB injury would make me shy off of laying that kind of number, although I think they cover. GL!!

The only reason that I brought that up is I believe Terbush, their starter,is healthy. Their backup Marve is not.I don't know how much depth they have at the position.Just a thought.
Best of Luck to you
Helping Kama'aina to beat their " Local " since 1994.

With you on Ohio St. Cal's defense looks like a big ??. A few years ago a ranked Cal team came east as a 14pt favorite at unranked Maryland and lost by 14. They say you learn from your mistakes and that day I was on Cal. Won't make that mistake again!! Bucks roll!
