This should be an interesting game to handicap. Two of the best teams versus the number in NCAA. Still gotta like UConn in a tough game. Pressure makes them better.

I know Uconn has alot of experience but this is like a home game for San Deigo I will give it to the home team a slight edge. San Deigo -1 they will by 2. Have you ever thoght why did Vegas set it at -1 even thou Uconn has all that experience playing against way better teams? Hmmmmm

Although SDSU could be considered having a huge advantage because of the location, I'd still have to take UConn by as much as 8 points on this game. I think the key to this game is Oriakhi from UConn. If he can start scoring as well as dominate on rebounds, the Aztecs are screwed.

UConn plays in a lot tougher conference and winning five games in a row against Pitt, Syracuse, Louisville, ND, St. Johns etc. and beating Cincy to advance and Marquette advancing tells me the Big East is the play here, not the MWC.

Everyone says the big east was a bunch of frauds. Not buying it. Kemba continues rolling and exposes the frauds of the MWC and both Florida and Uconn roll pretty easy tonight.

I kinda want to take SDS but that thought is wiped away by visions of Kemba coming across the 3 pt line and making offense happen...
I see it being a good game with both teams bringing it which means I'm considering OVER (128.5) as the best play...
Or, UCONN TT (64.5) OVER...?
Games that go Under a number like this are kinda stinkers to watch. This should be good one with plenty o' points in the last few minutes of the 2nd with fouls and all.

I don't recall them beating ND or St. Johns. If you look at the conf tourn run, not one of the teams they beat are still alive.
Depaul - did not make NCAA tournament
Georgetown - crushed by VCU
Pitt - lost to Butler
Syracuse - lost to Marquette
Louisville - lost to Morehead St.
Not to take anything away from those teams but it is what it is. In UConn's last 11 games of the season they lost to ND, WV, Marquette, Louisville (twice), St. Johns, and Syracuse. While I agree they played a much tougher schedule, the Aztecs are not to be discounted. They are a 2 seed for good reason.
This should be a good game but I am leaning San Diego St. Probably stay away from the total but Over looks good as well.

Surprisingly Conn.is giving only 1 ,hmm, this could be a trap---but still liking them to cover and win (total is low too) maybe i,ll just take the over for a small bet.

I definitely believe Uconn has a fight on their hands, yet hearing people dog the teams UConn has played/beat is downright ridiculous. San Diego St. has a cakewalk schedule. Of their notable wins they beat Gonzaga by 3 way early in the year, BYU once in 3 tries, and Temple in OT. Am I missing anything else? No!!! Comparing the 2 schedules is a joke. There are at least 10 teams out there that could at the very least match SD St.'s record if they played that weak schedule.
However, I also realize at this time of year comparing schedules is never a lock to base picks on. There are several teams alive with much inferior schedules to UConn. That being said, I still see this in UConn's favor, but not solely on SOS, just believe they will win a few key areas of the ballgame to secure the victory.
