Not very fond of betting against my boys. If I do, here are a few reasons why. The 3 B's...
1. Belli: Adriano will almost likely sit with an injury. Even HE said he doubts he'll play. This will be a bigger problem for Toronto than some might think.
2. Bruce: The Argos traded away their best (and arguably, ONLY) deep threat. (Incidentally, Andre Talbot is still out with injury).
3. Bishop: Michael WILL start for the Bombers. There's no confirmation yet, but he's been taking 1st AND 2nd team reps. If he isn't starting, then the actual starter will have barely had ANY practice. In other words, count on him starting. He will undoubtedly be motivated to play well against his old team.
Toronto's defense was solid in last week's matchup, but some would argue that part of it had to do with the lousy Bomber offense.
IMO, Michael Bishop is NOT Winnipeg's savior. However, a few years ago in the playoffs, he came into a playoff game for the Argos when Damon Allen and his team were faltering. He threw 2 quick touchdowns and they never looked back. Michael is the kind of player that will make an immediate impact, but will then fizzle out after a short while.
Again, I haven't decided if I'm betting this one yet, but if I am, I will be taking Winnipeg +4.5.

Go with the Bombers.Bishop WILL make a difference.Lefors has been Brutal, and the recievers had no confidence in him.The only guy Lefors ever really passed to was Brock Ralf.Who!!Exactly.Look for the top recievers to see the ball this week, and Bishop to actually pass it to them...without the Lefors wobble.

Bishop makes the difference.....today. He comes out strong against his former club. Is he the long term solution? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm not betting the Bombers long term. But I am all over them today.

Was thinking about it, but I'm not so sure the Argos can score that much. Their offense didn't look that great last week. They're still missing Talbot and now their deepest deep threat is gone. BOL
