I know the NFL likes to keep things equal between its teams as far as possible but would you say the NBA, NHL, and MLB pursue that ideal with the same vigour, if at all?
If not, how would you rank them in this respect, assuming the NFL is #1 with its parity fetish? I ask because I'm working on a method that capitalises on odds discrepancies, where two teams are closer than the sportsbooks give them credit for. I'm nowhere near a representative sample of games yet but I notice that the method works better so far in the NFL and NBA than in hockey and baseball, hence my question.
