Brady will go down as 1 or 2 whether u like him or not Joe Montana had no weakness. There was nothing he couldn't do as a QB, plus, like the other QB's of that era, he took a pounding, unlike the quarterbacks of today who are coddled. I've watched football for 40 years now, nobody was Joe's equal.

When asked about Mr. McNally’s nickname, Mr. Brady insisted that it was “Burt” not “Bird” — that was how little he knew about him even by the time of his interview. Other than pleasantries that might have been exchanged in passing in the locker room or equipment room area (Mr. Brady exchanges those pleasantries with most people he comes in contact with, as could have been readily confirmed by the investigators) and Mr. McNally’s recollection of asking Mr. Brady to sign some autographs, there is not even a single communication between them — oral, written, text, email, etc. — which exists or which a single witness identified. Indeed, Mr. McNally felt he needed to ask for permission to get the autographs on the day he thought could be Mr. Brady’s last game of the season — that is how non-existent any relationship with Mr. Brady was. Do you really think, given what the nfl has gone through the past few years, that they wanted to find that Brady was cheating. Highly unlikely. Maybe if he had cooperated, he could have explained his side of the story, but he didn't. All Ted Wells wanted from Brady was a list of his text messages, not even to read them, but he said no.

It gave him a significant edge in bad weather. Also, the Pats fumble ratio, which is ridiculously lower then any other teams. He cheated. in the second biggest game of the year, That's the reality. It doesn't matter the result.

He, (like the other quarterbacks of that generation), took a beating, unlike today where they are babied. Anybody that could keep a qb as good as Steve Young on the bench, has to be phenomenal. BTW, 4-0 in superbowls, 11 td's-0 interceptions, qb rating of 127 and change. In two of those superbowl wins, he demolished both Dan Mario's Dolphins and John Elways Broncos.

Integrity of the game can not be compromised. Simple as that Really good post. Here is my take on deflategate. The man conspired with two employees to have the footballs deflated in a way which suited him and gave him and his team a distinct advantage, especially since they play a lot of games in very poor conditions. Check the Pats fumble stats at home since McNally joined the team in 2007, ridiculously lower then the other teams. Brady knows the rules. What gets lost in this is that it could have been much worse. What if McNally and Jastremski were passing this information to bettors, especially McNally who was demanding cash and signed merchandise he could sell. He asked for specific items in his text to the go-between Jastremski prior to the AFC championship game with Indy and lo and behold, Brady handed him exactly what he asked for, the morning of the game. Brady lied and cheated. For anybody who is not convinced, read the report.

Being a craps dealer I can give you some advice. Stay away from center action, meaning prop bets and such, also the field bets. Always play minimum pass line, with max odds. One more thing, don't be scared to switch to the don't pass line if the dice are cold.

In his defense, he was under all kinds of pressure all game, which he wasn't used to all year long. Needless to say, he didn't handle it to well!

There were a lot of dynamics for this superbowl, more then usual. The possibility of a perfect season, the spygate thing, two major sports franchises, just the overall buildup for the last 10 weeks has been incredible, thus the emotions were at a fever pitch come game time.

Steve Spagnuolo, is the best defensive coordinator in the NFL at this moment. Unlike the Jags ( who thought that rushing Brady wasn't as important as shadowing Moss and company ), he was not going to let Brady get into a groove, if he could help it. Do you remember when the Broncos were winning their championships, they applied pressure all the time with blitzes and different schemes. They never went into a prevent defense, never, no matter how big their lead. All that does is get the other teams offense in a groove, and for a gunslinger like Brady, that is a no-no!

Brady is a very conservative QB, he will not lose a game for his team, by throwing an INT, in previous years this approach worked, this year it didn't. Entertainment wise, and as far as guts go, give me Favre anyday. This is not a knock on Tom Brady, but rather an opinion of who I would pay to see as a fan of the game.

When you're getting pressured like that, the ability to roll out is huge, that's the one flaw in Brady's game, his inability to move, to buy time, to scramble, to throw on the run , ala Montana, Young, Elway and others, that's why I wouldn't rate him with the all-time greats.
