A short week has Tampa Bay sliding from +1.5 to +2.5 at home to Atlanta in Week 8. The Bucs are without top WRs Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) after those stars left Monday’s loss to Baltimore with injuries. The total is at 45.5 after the look-ahead was as high as 48.5 points.

Caleb Williams

Opening line

A showdown between the top two QBs in the 2024 NFL Draft headlines Week 8, with Caleb Williams and the Bears facing Jayden Daniels and the Commanders — hopefully. The Commanders opened as 1.5-point favorites but quickly moved to +3 with Daniels' status up in the air. As of Sunday morning, Washington is as low as +1. The Bears will be fresh, coming off the bye in Week 7. The total is at 45 O/U.

That spread jumped to -9.5 by mid-week and got as high as -11 with Carolina QB Andy Dalton injuring his hand in a car accident and leaving the Panthers to start struggling QB Bryce Young under center. This total hit the board at 43.5 points and dropped to 41 O/U.

Cowboys vs. 49ers odds

Nick Bosa

The 49ers got stung again by the Chiefs and will take out those frustrations on another rival, the Dallas Cowboys. This Sunday Night Football spread opened as short as San Francisco -5.5 with WRs Deebo Samuel leaving due to illness and Brandon Aiyuk suffering a knee injury in the Week 7 loss. Samuel and TE George Kittle are expected to play, but this spread is at 49ers -5.5 on gameday. The total opened at 47.5 points and is back at that number after drifting down to 47. Dallas is rested and coming off the bye, but will not have defensive star Micah Parsons back in action yet.
