Kraken win fourth straight by outscoring Senators 8-4

Andre Burakovsky and Jordan Eberle each had a goal and two assists to lead the Seattle Kraken to an 8-4 win over the host Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Justin Schultz, Matty Beniers, Vince Dunn and Daniel Sprong each had a goal and an assist, while Oliver Bjorkstrand and Jared McCann also scored for Seattle. Martin Jones made 19 saves for the Kraken, whose eight goals came on just 24 shots en route to their fourth straight win.

Tim Stutzle had a hat trick and an assist, while Brady Tkachuk also scored and Thomas Chabot had two assists for the Senators, who saw a two-game winning streak come to an end.

Cam Talbot came off the bench to make 14 saves for the Senators after Anton Forsberg was benched after allowing three goals on five shots in the first 15:13 of the game.

With Ottawa trailing 3-1 after the first period, Stutzle scored two goals in a span of 1:59 midway through the second period to tie the game, with the equalizer coming off assists from Chabot and Artem Zub at the 8:34 mark.

Sprong regained the lead for the Kraken just 22 seconds later off an assist from Will Borgen.

Beniers' goal off an assist from Eberle at the 14:13 mark extended Seattle's advantage to 5-3.

Dunn scored off assists from Burakovsky and Adam Larsson to make it 6-3 just 1:19 into the third period.

Eberle pushed the lead to 7-3 off assists from Burakovsky and Beniers at the 4:55 mark.

Stutzle's third goal of the game pulled the Senators to within 7-4 just 25 seconds later off an assist from Drake Batherson.

Burakovsky capped the scoring off assists from Eberle and Dunn with 10:01 left in the game.

The Kraken took a 1-0 lead when Bjorkstrand took a pass from Schultz and wristed a shot that dinged off the post and into the back of the net with 10:41 left in the period.

The Senators equalized 62 seconds later when Tkachuk scored off assists from Stutzle and Chabot with 9:39 left in the period.

Seattle countered when McCann scored off assists from Jaden Schwartz and Alex Wennberg with 7:07 left in the period.

Schultz extended the lead to 3-1 when he deflected Jamie Oleksiak's shot from the point through Forsberg's legs at the 15:13 mark, prompting Ottawa coach D.J. Smith to pull Forsberg in favor of Talbot.
