Troy Terry scored a pair of goals in the opening 10 minutes and finished off his first career hat trick in the closing seconds as the Anaheim Ducks ended a four-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory Tuesday over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers.

Sonny Milano added a goal and John Gibson had 28 saves for Anaheim, which won for the first time since Dec. 15.

Cam Atkinson scored a goal and Carter Hart had 26 saves as Philadelphia ended a four-game West Coast road trip with a 1-2-1 record.

The Flyers were forced into pregame adjustments after forward Claude Giroux, defenseman Ivan Provorov and one staff member were placed into the league's COVID-19 protocol earlier Tuesday. Giroux leads Philadelphia with 29 points.

The Ducks had their own COVID issues Monday as practice was canceled after forwards Nicolas Deslauriers and Derek Grant, as well as a staff member, were placed into protocol. The Ducks also have two of their top four point leaders -- Ryan Getzlaf and Trevor Zegras -- in the protocol.

Terry gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead at 3:21 of the first period when he tipped a blast from Hampus Lindholm past Hart on the short side. Play actually continued after the puck hit off the post, went into the goal and came out, but the score was confirmed on replay.

Terry made it 2-0 near the midway point of the period when he outraced the Flyers' defense from center ice and flipped the puck past Hart from close range.

Atkinson got the Flyers back within a goal with a nifty redirect from the slot off a centering pass. Atkinson sent the puck between the legs of Lindholm and past Gibson for his team-leading 13th of the season.

Milano gave the Ducks a 3-1 lead with 2:11 remaining in the second period after he flipped a cross-ice pass from Sam Steel into a wide-open goal. The power-play goal was his ninth overall this season.

Terry added an empty-net goal with 48.3 seconds remaining. The third goal was his 21st of the season, after he had just 15 goals in 127 games over the previous three seasons.
