Jamie Benn scored the overtime winner and Miro Heiskanen collected three assists as the visiting Dallas Stars snapped a four-game losing skid with a 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday.

Denis Gurianov, Blake Comeau and Tyler Seguin also scored for Dallas, and Anton Khudobin made 30 saves. The Stars have four wins this season, but none in regulation time.

The Flames dominated overtime, but Benn netted the winning goal when he took a drop pass from Joe Pavelski and ripped a shot from the slot at 2:59. Dallas has won five straight games in Calgary.

Nikita Zadorov scored once in a two-point game for the Flames, while Milan Lucic and Matthew Tkachuk also tallied. Goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped 24 shots. The Flames have lost two straight games in extra time, but they are on a nine-game point streak (6-0-3).

Gurianov, a healthy scratch the previous outing, opened the scoring at 14:09 the first period on a power play. He redirected a Heiskanen shot for his second goal of the season.

The Flames found their game at that point, and Lucic drew the hosts even with 4:47 remaining in the second period. After a faceoff win sent the puck to the point, Zadorov blasted a shot that Lucic deflected to net his third of the campaign.

A five-on-three power-play goal put the Flames ahead with 79 seconds left in the middle period. Tkachuk buried a pass from Elias Lindholm while in the slot, netting his fifth goal of the season and extending his point streak to five games.

However, Comeau tied the game again on a two-on-one rush with 5.6 seconds left in the second period when he zipped a short-side shot for his first goal of the season.

Seguin put the Stars ahead a second time when he deflected Alexander Radulov's long shot 94 seconds into the third period, but Zadorov made it a 3-3 game when his long wrist shot found the net with 3:57 left in regulation.

With his assist on Zadorov's goal, Oliver Kylington extended his point-scoring streak to five games.
