Stephen Curry saved six of his game-high 40 points for a late 16-0 flurry Thursday night that propelled the Golden State Warriors out of a fourth-quarter deficit and into a 111-105 victory over the Orlando Magic in San Francisco.

Curry hit 10 3-pointers, but the first eight weren't enough as the Warriors found themselves down 91-86 after a James Ennis III 3-pointer with 8:49 remaining.

But the Magic then went the next 5:14 without a point, during which Golden State took command.

Juan Toscano-Anderson started the run with a layup and Andrew Wiggins gave Golden State the lead for good with a layup followed by a jumper.

Curry then took control, burying his two 3-pointers that book-ended another Toscano-Anderson layup.

When Kelly Oubre Jr. converted an Orlando turnover into a dunk at the 3:47 mark, the Warriors had blown the game open at 102-91.

Dwayne Bacon ended the Magic's drought with a 3-pointer with 3:35 to go, and another three by Terrence Ross got the visitors as close as 109-105 with 16.1 seconds remaining.

But Curry then iced the win and secured his third 40-point effort of the season with two free throws with 12.3 seconds left.

Curry hit 14 of his 26 shots to pace the Warriors, who won their second straight. He also found time for eight rebounds, five assists and a game-high four steals.

Wiggins finished with 21 points for Golden State, while Oubre had 17 to go with a team-high 10 rebounds. Mychal Mulder added 11 points, and Draymond Green dished off a game-high 11 assists to complement eight points, six rebounds and two blocks.

Nikola Vucevic had 25 points, a game-high 13 rebounds and five assists for the Magic, who get a home rematch with the Warriors next Friday.

Bacon and Ross went for 20 points apiece, while Ennis had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando, which lost its third straight and seventh in its last eight.
