Very tight game to handicap!  A coin toss may be the best solution.  No money bet here!

Georgia wins big because of what happened last year. Clemson lost a lot to the draft, bull dogs get most players back new QB but has playing time.

I won't bother with the spread, but I like the under. Clemson has the best pass rusher in the game going after a Bulldog quarterback that's still green. Vice Versa Clemson is depleted at the skill positions on offense and are going against probably the best linebacker unit in the SEC with Georgia. Don't let it rain because this one can turn into a real slobber-knocker.

I'm with SoMuchCho, both teams have strong front sevens on Defense. Clemson has been hurt far more on offense with the loss of Boyd and Watkins and will not be able to try and exploit the Georgia secondary like it did last year. UGA's QB is a traditional drop back passer and does not have a lot of mobility. This will end up leading to UGA running Gurley extensively ( good idea, he is a horse) and throwing short possession passes. If it gets below 7, I'd take UGA. I've got the under 58 already and may add some more at 53.

Georgia put up 545 yards, and 35 points on the road last year with Gurley missing half the game against Clemson.  Too many weapons for Clemson, who lost more big play guys from last year than UGA did.  Add in home field advantage and I see UGA as the play.  Both teams have strong Front 7s so it should be lower scoring this year.    This was Phil Steele's Best Bet pick of the week.

UGA by 12+      3 unit play for me
