I'm a Penn Stater and have no love for UM, but my money rests with the Big Blue. ND defense gets exposed this week by a legitimate Michigan offense after allowing 362 yards by a very weak Temple offense. Last year Denard Robinson turned the ball over 5 times. This year the offense runs all over the field and the Michigan defense harasses Tommy Rees into multiple TO's.

Like a motivated Michigan a lot at home this week against an over rated Irish team. ND has many gaps to fill on their defense and an offense that is unproven.
Michigan to cover and win by 8-10+ 3 unit play for me

um reese really does not throw picks ....michigan had a legit o last year ..good luck and all but hating n.d. is one thing this write up sounds like a espn announcer saying things that have zero relevance to current events ...

over rated ? although blown out I believe n.d. played for a national championship..The offense is in tact besides golson and t.eifert reese was starter before and bailed out golson a few times .The temple game could have easily been a blow out ..adjustments will be made by the best coach in college who has done incredible things with many teams ..our recruiting class was a great one and filled many gaps on defense and offense ..so not sure overrated @#11 is over rated... about right really ..wish I could get those 10pts

ND was total vanilla on D last week vs Temple. They will give up a lot of yards to Michigan but keep them out of the end zone. Give me the points and ML

OK, so let's see, you actually think ND belonged in that game? Tells me a lot. You do realize that ND wasn't even close to a Top 10 team and they got there because of votes, not from earning a spot don't you? No? Got some news for you about Santa and the Easter Bunny. Just look at the bowl games ND has been put into, and their record of blowouts if you want to see they are only there for TV ratings. So yes, they are overrated annually. Now, you can also say both may be overrated, who knows this early in the season but ND is a media darling and hasn't been a football powerhouse for decades.
That said, it is no lock to bet either team in what is usually a close game. I am picking Michigan because of home field at night and that ND traditionally gets beaten in competitive games. You hang your hat on mythical national championships if you want but if you think ND was one of the top 2 teams in the country last year it is hard to respect your handicapping ability or take your observations seriously. The ND offense from last year was hardly impressive by any measurement so returning most of them doesn't strike fear. If Michigan has improved their D at all ND could struggle again.
Everyone has an opinion, none any more important than another, but using "they were in a big game last year" is very weak sauce. Over rated last year is an understatement, this year, who knows...yet? My opinion is they are because they are almost every single year.

Oh and I HATE betting on Michigan, but I am loading up this week. Michigan is legit this year with an actual QB and Defense. I'm not getting into a long write up here, but I think Michigan wins handily. Wolverines are one of my top plays.

Macallanlover My opinion is they are because they are almost every single year. I agree about the blow out but name another team that would have played bama closer ..they would have beaten any team that night...and undefeated is far from over rated .
