this forum is funny to read.... but bs to listen to... everyone got an opinion or a final score they predict... but its all about a little luck. so stop tryin to drop some knowledge or insight like u know the outcome...or u have the sports almanac from back to the future... and just bet.
GO AWAY FOOL.
ALWAYS SOME STUPID AHOLE SAYING SOMETHING STUPID. JUST SHUT-UP.
I COME HERE DIGGING FOR INFO. SURE. SOMETIMES YOU FIND IT SOMETIMES YOU DONT. BUT IT SURE IS NICE WHEN YOU FIND SOME.
This forum is great for college fball / bball. A lot of guys follow their local team and have info that not just everybody has. Looking at a bet sheet wont tell you if the team has the flu, or if someone just got suppended, or if someone twisted their ankle in practice. Some of these guys guess, but some of these guys follow local teams pretty close and get local news on these teams that I dont always get. THANK - YOU. to all the guys who pass along GOOD, INFORMATION. everyone else is entitled to their opinion. BUT I AIN'T BETTIN' ON IT.

Not betting this game, but just looks like it comes down to an opinion of the relative strength of conferences. Both teams have similar records and neither has a signature out of conference win. WKU hasn't been playing well as of late and CMU is hot, granted vs. the conference bottom feeders. Didn't realize the sunbelt was that much better than the MAC
Not touching this one, but don't see what sticks out that rates WKU a 6 point favorite in basically a ROAD game here.

without a doubt the best post on this entire thread... and arguably the only post that has anything worth reading from a handicapping standpoint...
this game should be a pick'em... getting almost a TD? yea... take the dog!

how many people on this sight look at post and blow right by them.i do i read and nothing changes my mind.im still gonna pick who i want.No one is gonna make me lose my money but me.If you like a team thats your opinion.I like posts that give facts not opinions.thats just me .anyway my opinion would be the under my facts would be nothing Petrino coming to town how the heck do some people say thats gonna motivate the team.maybe some key players had a better relationship with the old coach.

W Kentucky and heres why. Only one thing better than fading a MAC team is fading a BAD MAC team and the Central Michigan team is bad. lowa must be horrible to lose to them and yep, they are. There have been two Mac teams that have played so far, the results; Toledo lost by 25 and Ball ST lost by 21. So when you settle down to watch the Barely Better Than Frozen Pizza Bowl put a little bit down on W Kentucky because they suck less.

W. Ken -6.5. MAC teams had great year, but they got bad draws in the bowl games. Kent might be the only one to cover and that will take a great effort by their defense.

WKU === -Coaching: A. Head coach Taggart left for S. Florida and will hire WKU assistants Walt Wells, Nick Sheridan and Raymond Woodie after the bowl game. B. WKU Hired controversial new head coach Bobby Petrino (starts next year) and he has not stated whom he will keep. C. Defensive coordinator Lance Guidry is the interim coach and will call plays. Guidry is making his second appearance as an interim coach in a bowl after leading Miami (Ohio) to a victory in the 2011 GoDaddy.com Bowl. D. Guidry also dealt with a death in his family last week.
-Offense: A. All-puprose offensive stud in Antonio Andrews and seeks to break Barry Sanders all-purpose yardage record. B. Quarterback Kawaun Jakes is a gamebreaker. C. Tightend Jack Doyle is an NFL prospect.
-Defense: A. Sun Belt defensive player of the year and defensive end Quanterus Smith will miss the game because of a knee injury. B. Linebacker Andrew Jackson led the conference in tackles with 116 and may turn pro.
CMU === -General: A. Campus is 158 miles from Detriot. B. Sold all 10,000 ticket allotment.
-Offense: A. Starting receivers Titus Davis and Courtney Williams suspended for tonight’s game. Redshirt freshman receiver Andrew Flory will start in their abscence. B. Running back Zurlon Tipton has been most consistent Chippewa skill player during the second half of the season and runs down-hill.
Both teams are very "motivated" for this nationally televised game! Central Michigan is feeling good about their last couple of wins (against very weak competition), but Western Kentucky will be rude in Michigan.

Newbie here...but this seems like as good of a place to start talking about my wagers as any.
I'm taking WKU.
Brasco touched on part of the reason earlier with C. Mich having two of their top three receivers out.
I've seen Jonathan Dowling (DB for WKU) play this year and he looks like he has the talent to play on Sunday.
Given both points, WKU's Dowling should effectively control the only receiver C. Mich has left, Cody Wilson. The next in line had a great game against Eastern Michigan—but that isn't saying a thing.
Passing game covers over 60% of the offensive production for C Mich and that's out. A one dimensional game, playing into a good run defense for WKU...

Well Colonel, I'm on the opposite side as you tonight. I'm giving out CMU as a free pick on my website. I am having a very lousy start to my 12k football bowl pool, going 2-5 so far. But my "Free Picks" are hitting at 59% in all sports this year so something has to break today.

You might be right on this call Tex. The more I delve into this game the more I'm liking the Chips. They easily can put up 30 or more on this Sunbelt team. If their defense holds up against a mediocre wku offense they win this one outright. I jumped on wku when the line was 5 (to late to turn back now) but if this turns into a smash mouth type of game the Chips win.

Everyone was on Fresno and I posted SMU ML + U at 8.5-1 odds, actually waited until right before kick and got 9.2-1 but that's irrelevant.
I think it's time for the public to get some back from Vegas. I grabbed this line at 5.5 2 days ago as WKU has been a very strong team this year and has one me a nice bit of $

Central Michigan has won three straight (SU and ATS), but these three opponents -- Eastern Michigan, Miami-Ohio and UMass have a combined record of 7-29 (.194) this year. Despite the win streak, senior QB Ryan Radcliff has connected on just 43-of-76 passes (56.6%) for 573 yards, 4 TD and 2 INT. With both Davis and Williams suspended for this game, Radcliff will rely heavily on erratic senior WR Cody Wilson, who has four 100-yard games, but seven sub-55-yard efforts this season. The good news is that Zurlon Tipton has gotten stronger throughout the season with 894 rushing yards (149 YPG) on 6.1 yards per carry in the second half of the 2012 campaign. His 19 rushing touchdowns are one shy of the school record set in 1994. Defensively, CMU is not very good in any facet, as the school ranks 98th in FBS in scoring defense (33.3 PPG), 96th in total defense (443 YPG) and tied for 99th in sacks (1.4 per game). The one saving grace is their increase in takeaways from five over the first six games of the season to 13 in the year's final six contests.
Western Kentucky's offensive philosophy is pretty simple: give the football to Antonio ....

This game will be out of reach come late 4th quarter , won't see a back door cover in this one. CMU's defense will be on the field all night long. Good luck guys and Happy Holidays !
