Tottenham to win 2nd leg @+240 (placed/posted this last week
Ajax/Tott over 2.5 @-135
Asia CL:
Johor/Kashima - home side needs to go for the win w/out their best player whom is suspended. Kashima -1 @+112 (push at worst)
Daegu/Melbourne - at first glance thought this was too juiced to even consider making a play on. but Aussies already eliminated; and apparently not even bothering to bring their first teamers here (from what i understand just 5 made the flight, sent the minimum allowed of 15 players) as they have a domestic playoff on the wknd. theyve been getting thumped on the road routinely too. and this looks everything like another one as Koreans a very offensive, attack minded squad in need of points. instead of hammering the 2 HC decided to toss 'caution' through the window a 'runner' here, scale down each risk.
Daegu/Melbourne over 3.5 @+135, 4.5 @+295
Daegu + over 2.5 @-140, 1st half over 1.5 @+120
Copa Lib: already put this one in, back later with others

yoro not a bad start; a little suprised at the Kashima result but hit the two larger plays in the other match.
Kashima -1 @+112 (L)
Daegu/Melbourne over 3.5 @+135, 4.5 @+295 (W, L)
Daegu + over 2.5 @-140, 1st half over 1.5 @+120 (W, L)
really like this Copa Lib card. decided to toss caution again and unload on one of them.
adding:
Huracan(Arg)/Lara(Ven) - proof of the perceived "weakness" of the Venezuelan league is on display here. Huracan have nothing to play for and even with a 'w' will finish dead last in Group. Venezuelans ascutally have a chance to advance with a 'w' here. yet the hosts are juiced. Lara needs the win because the draw does them no good and Im assuming will play as such; but they are terrible travellers and havent held anybody below TWO goals in all 5 of their Lib roadies going back to last year. nice price on this as it has the makings of a wide open match.
Huracan/Lara over 2.5 @+127
Huracan TT over 1.5 @+120
Group D:
Penarol(Uru)/Flamengo(Bra) - quite possibly the biggest match of this final round; both at 9pts Brazilians with the the goal diff advantage so they are afforded the 'luxury' of playing for the draw. problem for BOTH of them though is Quito sitting there in 3rd at 7 pts with an 'easy' home match. technically, they both can play for the 'draw'; but if Quito wins by 2+ goals they can overtake the Uruguayans via 'goals scored' tiebreaker.
Uruguayans tough as nails at home with one of the best records in all of Conmebol, but Flamengo the much superior team whom prior to that loss in the altitude a few weeks ago had ripped off cleansheet in 4 straight roadies and havent conceded before the half either. sense a lot of 'scoreboard watching here' and neither will risk anything at the onset (hopefully). going to take a shot at this.
Quito(Ecu)/San Jose(Bol) - no elevation advantage here, San Jose home is actually higher. any type of win for Quito could see them advance (as long as the other match doesnt end level). but 2 goal win guarantees them going through regardless what happens. and San Jose are awful on the road (10 goals conceded in their two matches). .....i absolutely love this one especially if Bolivians can find back of net. reverse fixture was a 3-3 draw in Bolivia.

I wanna say AJAX looks so great but in reality Tottenham is just finished. Man City must be sitting at home saying how did we give up 4 goals to this group....

ryan even I - upon watching Tott players walking off the pitch at the break - their body language.... a friend said (jokingly) 'I dont know what they were sniffing, drinking, or injecting in that locker room. or if Poch was telling them how their mothers made a 'mistake' a few decades ago...... but it worked. hats off to them. whats that english term?...... WHOAAAAAAAA????
w00, andal, david appreciate it
Cody, that (*) up there. a friend sent me a clip of the ending in that Penarol/Flamengo match. dont know if you had the chance to see it but in injury time one of the Flam players broke free at midfield and 1- on 1 with the GK whom was waaaay out there far from his line; all he needed to do was tap the ball to the side, run around the goalie, and WALK it into the net. (honest to god). but nope, he's Brazilian. and Sambas dont "DO" those easy things. (yes, Im critical of brazilian players nowadays, which wasnt the case long time ago) down there, its seems like HOW you score a goal is just as important as actually scoring it. so naturally sherlock tries the more difficult option which the GK stuck his leg out, deflects, and ball rolls 20-25 metres harmlessly over the end line. get a big 'w' for that? (laughing) OK, ill take it but......cazzo!! thats why I dont touch the 'other' Serie A. i LOVE Conmebol. just not Serie A.
