great to be a tottenham fan with arse losing on sunday and chelsea dropping points monday, we couldnt ask for softer opposition than brighton who will be parking the proverbial bus weds, tottenham should cover the h'cap but I'll just parlay them ML with Watford who are playing for 7th place and a europa spot, saints are better under their new manager but their best form has been at st.marys'. Square parlay gents.

geez Boll , your threads are like a magnet for those kind of replies. someone always seems to come in and put the opposite of whatever youre on (laughing). nothing outwardly 'wrong' with that but geez... theres never 'reasoning' behind it.
hope Tott wins cuz I got Brighton pegged to drop.
off-topic: by the way, been meaning to ask you this; since last year when you were in denial of watching -- even though admitting your missus was in the next room glued to the tv.. I annoited you 'Covers Royal Wedding Correspondent' .... anyone pairing up this year?
just having a little fun at your expense, feel free to rip me a new one on Juve. but for the love of dear god dont send a nuclear bomb exploding with the smoke shaped like Gigi crying (that was last year.. aka those dumb Roma fans)
yoro, i believe its accurate: put this in my thread last friday supporting my Everton play: "...but if City wins the FA Cup then that 7th slot goes to europe." everything gets 'bumped down' a notch in the table.
at this time of year, any perceived 'motivational' edge shouldnt be disregarded, might not always work out but in the long run it's been helpful. we'll see how it unfolds.

but I don’t think 7th spot can be qualified for Europa
correct me if I’m wrong
I believe in England this season could get 9 Europe spots. If Man City wins FA cup then top 7 for sure, and I believe if either English side win the CL or Europa they too get in CL next season so the slots move down even more (since all remaining clubs would qualify on their own via EPL). I'm not 100% sure on the 8 and 9 spots, but certain if City win FA Cup that the 7 spot is in.

pardon for 'cluttering' ur thread. but thats actually a good point bk1374 made. im not sure of other countries rules and what not, (serie A teams never win anything..... ) is it a "standardized" rule throughout europe?
reason i mention this is Sevilla came through the UEL Qualifiers this year though they came in 7th last season in Liga. probably due to the fact that Atletico won Europa. so you might be right on this.
h*ck...... we could see an EPL-Party with both Finals (UEL/UCL) not saying its going to happen but the fact that one can even MENTION this at this juncture is amazing in itself.

There could be 5 EPL teams in the CL next season if say chelsea win the europa cup.
anyway who cares, tottenham got 3 massive points despite as noted, brighton showing good bus parking skills.
pretty tough for watford when u concede after 7 seconds - a rare EPL draw
and spec, i follow the royals as much as i follow women's football, at least Juve haven't been Oliverised this season, do u think him and Buffon text each other

well Tott did their job. i just checked, not 100% certain but I think Brighton owns the tiebreaker edge over Cardiff. correct? doesnt the EPL use goal differential ahead of the H2H's? (could be wrong on this),
regarding Gigi, the only purpose for him to text Oliver I would imagine would be to simply find out where he lives.
ya know then VAR was first setup in Serie A? there were certain refs whom really struggled to adjust to it. and I think Oliver is going to be one of them next year out there. not comparing the two leagues, buti noticed those refs whom do things "by the book" and strong minded had a hard time (half serious/half joking) at being told what to do (aka...VAR decisions). nobody really ever mentionss this aspect of it.... for some of the refs its a big adjustment too....and Michael is definitely one of those types.
and youre gonna go absolutel bonkers over seeing those side judges raise their flags up half way, for an offsides put them down, and then raise again sort of like saying "what the heck... if Im wrong we'll go to VAR" (trust me on this one..... its something people really dont see on tv much because the focus is more on the ball for the tv viewers) just some tidbits from someone whom has long since broken his virginity on the topic as you head into your maiden voyage weekly next year with it. keep the aspirin bottle nearby mate
