off topic. was reading about the owner of some basketball team in america (i think it was dallas) got in trouble for telling his team to lose games. (laughing) and was fined 500 thousand for it???!!! he should move his team out here; say stuff like that and youll get PAID for it.
hey duece, you got any more INSIDE information on a FIXED match today......... for FREE. i hate paying for that stuff. i promise to send you a box of cannolis if it hits
after a few big wins last night im scaling it back a little fer today. besides, its Europa --- thats reason enuff for me to remember.
Europa:
Plzen -1 @+127, Plzen/Partizan over 2.5 @+105, over 3.5 @+240 - love this one. not a 'play of the day' or anything like that but Serbs are terrible travellers and in that 1-1 first leg draw they were outplayed at home. Plzen literally walking thru the Czech league and are a solid squad in front of their home fans, have won all 4 home matches by 2+ goals this year and actually have been beaten just once in last 8 europa matches at home. this is a pretty decent mid-tier european team.
Lazio HT/FT @-125 - as I put in the yoros thread, Inzaghi resting the entire backline. i am unsure if Immobile being rested so im leery of the O/U. Steaua will park it for sure (even IF they concede the first goal); so I doubt the backline will even be tested here. Immobile out = nailbiter, Immobile in = confidence.
Atalanta to win @+140 - Dortmund winless in last 6 european roadies, and they have an injury list which is a mile long still. Bergamo is a tough place to play in and some of the most passionate fans in all of Pasta-land (5,000+ made that trip to germany last week). seen BOTH clubs play quite a few times this year as I have Dort in a future, this is a decent price to get for this Serie A club.
Napoli to win @+333 - one of the things with following & familiarity of certain clubs; is after reading tons of articles & watching interviews thru a lifetime is you can get a pretty good 'feel' as to whats "lip service/bullsh*t" and whats genuine. and I can end up looking like a complete IDIOT in a few hours but...... Sarri was pretty pissed off at his players last week & they responded with a dud of a 1-0 win vs lowly SPAL. earlier today i get a txt from a buddy down there: "magnifico" in" (Insignes 'nickname') second i saw this i put a small play on these guys. the fact that Sarri is putting him in lineup speaks volumes. and these interviews about making up for last weeks lackluster performance seems different.
before anyone reminds me that I been saying 'fade them cuz of the scudetto. yes, and it still remains. after leipzig scored that 3rd goal last week in injury time it left a lot of WIGGLE room here. Im not writing them off and they definitely arent a creampuff. keep this in mind, Napoli can still win and be eliminated. Players get to restore some pride, management gets their wish of removing another "distraction" from scudetto hopes, and supporters can still brag. win/win/win for everyone.
and aside from Juventus, its been a long time since these guys have lost twice to the same team in one season (barring Coppa)
and now the game still needs to be played.
and with everything im hearing, at this price? OK. if Leipzig thumps them? fine. but fyi, Napoli doesnt look like theyre gonna roll over.
Atl Madrid/Copen - christ. looks like Copenhagen coming with their reserve team & left bunch of regulars back home. Madrids bench winning by 3 is 'do-able'. especially at this price.
