Well, an 0-fer yesterday to kick things in the CL. I talked to myself too much on both plays, maybe didn't do enough lab work.
Porto pick, +0.5 -103 (10.3 units)
Porto +230 (4 units)
Porto-Liverpool under 2.5 -107 (10.7 units)
The EPL is many, many layers of concrete above the Primeira league, but Porto is as tough as they come on their home soil, having not lost a league match there over the last two seasons. Liverpool has proven they can win away from home, but while scoring 34 road goals might appear impressive, 26 of those came against teams ranked 10th or below in the table - that's 26 goals to 9 teams and scoring only 8 goals in the other 5 games. I actually think Porto might defend turf today, but playing the goal line on the chance we see a 1-1 final.
PSG pick, +0.5 -108 (108 units)
PSG +210 (5 units)
Real Madrid-PSG over 3.5 -105 (10.5 units)
I'm firmly in the camp who feels Real has not been very impressive of late, and, despite being at home, I think they run into a buzz saw today. Good teams have the strong ability to turn things on when needed, but that becomes more challenging when the opponent is already a gear ahead.
