Hey guys, I need your help. A radio station in my home town has a contest on the go. They have hid 9 maps and we have to find them. Two have been found and we are on map # 3. If I find a map, I have 1 in 9 chances to win 10,000!
Clues we got today
1. open to the public 2. it's sticking around 3. no need to dig around
I was thinking a public park or libary.
Sticking around - stuck on something.
sticking = tree
Anyone have any ideas. I'm about to head out to look for it. Thanks!!!

Where do you live? Easier for someone that lives around the area...
Open to the public is virtually everywhere...
It's sticking around could be a gazillion things...could be that it is stuck to something or it could be a place where you might get sticky from eating something....or it could be on a cork board at a college or something...
No need to dig means it is out in the open...
Again though they have to hide it where not just anyone will find it, so that would mean it is not out in the open for all to see or someone would just grab it who doesn't even know there is a contest going on....or it could mean it's sticking around, as in at the radio station....
COVERS allows you to tell others they r sexually confused so long as your hands are clean

You say this is the 3rd map....can you supply the clues and where the map was found for the first two contests? It would help to see how the clues are derived.

The 2nd map was found at Topsail Beach. Under the Topsail Beach sign. Under the sign was a flower garden. It was in the soil.
1: miss the map you'll pass it twice (one way into topsail beach and one way out) 2: wouldn't it be nice to have a bird's eye view (the sign has a bird on it) 3: Follow the arrows to get what you want (there is an arrow that points you to topsail beach) 4: Don't be afraid to scratch the surface (dig in the flower garden) 5: 18 and under (there are 18 rocks on the sign so its under it) 6: One right, two lefts (directions) 7: You'll need to be on top of your game ("top"sail beach_ 8: Not in St. John's 9. Don't think outside the box (in the flower box) 10. under picture perfect blue skies ( the sign had blue skies)

touche... would have helped if i read all of the posts. Well whatever public places you search, I'd look on the floor/ground... maybe some kind of historical place?
