I find it hilarious how some people bitch about the evil oil companies ripping people off at the pump when the oil companies make about $0.10 on every gallon of gas sold while the government makes about $0.50 on every gallon of gas sold.

Its funny that people expect the corporations which sell the most non readily availible natural product to not make large profits. They will profit regardless of the gas/oil prices. They supposed to pay all their employees/shareholders operating at a loss?
We don't pay shit for gas in this country. If it gets terrible I will have a car shipped over from Italy or France (for under 10k, 15 if I want brand new) to go with my truck and it will have a tiny 1.2 litre engine and take deisel.
Suck it up or ride your bike/move somewhere near public transportation. Sadly enough pricks will never stop driving into the cities at rush hour; I wonder if people in LA will be able to leave for 700 Dodger games at 630 instaed of 530.
Just the cars the automakers are selling should have been built smaller long ago so poor people can downsize. Thank Honda and Toyota for preventing this and deciding to build big cars because they could make a Camry get 1mpg more than a Taurus and convince people they are better. Assholes.

So the oil companies actually do the work to keep the gas stations full while the government does jack shit and gets paid 5 TIMES what the oil companies do, yet it’s the oil companies who are the bad guys in that equation?

So their net profits are almost double that of America’s net worth?
Care to rethink that one, slick?

If you make a mistake on the original post you can get away with that, but when you “correct” your original post to say something as ridiculous as your “ONE HUNDRED TRILLION”… not so much.
Please explain how your statement of “government makes more than 50 cents a gallon” makes my numbers wrong when I said “the government makes about $0.50 on every gallon of gas sold.”
I mean shit dude, did you come home drunk and decide to start posting before you passed out?

Nice explanation, drunk.
I say it’s about $0.50, and you come back with “no you’re numbers are wrong, it’s over $0.50.”
Come back when you sober up, dumbass.

Also, it varies depending on the state. In some states it’s UNDER $0.50 a gallon. Thus, your price is wrong… bitch.

JohnAlz I dont work for GM. My grandfather did got a job in the factory when he got off the boat. My Grandma outlived him by 20 years. Pension checks from GM never stopped coming. I don't give a fuck if you have an Accord, good for you. Thing is I bet half of the women you have dated have drove one, and chances are ifyou have old people on your street who have purchased a new vehicles over the last couple years chances are its an accord and not a Buick. Not enough people on the other side of the fence.
GM has done what it has to as has Ford. GM was profitable last year. But they have had to react to person automakers mimicing their cars for appearance and then having moderatley better gas mileage to put them out of buisiness.
Europeans have been driving cars like this for decades, Your registration cost depends on ONE THING... the size of your engine. Putting something like that on the road is under 50 pounds a year. An S600 would be about 3-4k. Thats why they make cars like that more so than the gas itself.
Have Honda or Toyota produced automobiles like that since the 90s? A Toyota in the 80s looked like that in relation to an Impala like a 2011 Fiat 500 looks in relation to an Accord.
No, they only design cars similar to the ones US automakers make and then try and put them out of buisiness. If the Japs had been making these over here for 20 years gas hitting 6 or 7 bucks owuldnt be a big deal, a poor person could get a car that costs 50 bucks to fill instead of the 100 it took in thier accord.
Look at the Fiat and other cars Europeans drive and ask why the Japs havent built similar ones in the states. They are waiting for the demand to become ridiculous for small cars so they can sell loads of them brand new and make tons once the oil scare hit. THe Hybrid thing is over they arent making any of those shits it was a load of crap charging your car.
Scummy scummy Japs not making 1.2 litre engine cars for the US audience and specifically keeping them the size of American cars which have always been bigger than what the rest of the world drives b/c of our infrastructure and roads being strait in many places.
Ok this is going to be off the top of my head, but I'll do my best: Chevy, Honda, BMW, Acura, Ford, Ford, Mercedes, VW, Honda, BMW, Ford, Dodge. That's what I can remember from girls that I actually dated and wasn't just banging. That's 3 out of 12 (if you count the Acura who is made by Honda) so not half, but a quarter. I fail to see your point by that comment though? I don't go after chicks that drive Hondas
You and my father would get along nice, at least for 2 minutes before he told you your rambling is egregious. He's owned two Buicks and still has one now. He also has a Cadillac and swears they're the best cars he's ever owned. He's always been an "American made" guy. Owned Chevys, Buicks, Lacs, etc. However, he bought my mother a Toyota and swears if he ever buys another car for himself, which he probably won't bc his Caddy is pretty new and he loves it, he will buy a Toyota. Quit hating on the yellow fellas guy. They do most things better than us. Just accept it

You just admitted your numbers are wrong. Kind of funny considering you were pretty adamant about it.
