I love Nick Saban and I love his preparation and attention to detail but it is pretty obvious to me that over the last 4 yrs......the CLEMSON PLAYERS are a family and love DABO and his other coaches. Dabo STUCK UP FOR HIS PLAYER WHEN HE WAS DOWN A WEEK AGO....and the rest of the players learned about faith and commitment to each other.
Bama will always have the lights/the legend/the aura/the big band and groupies following them, but having coached on a team that built a program in another sport a lot like Dabo does.....I can truly say he feels over the moon for the experience he just had with HIS FAMILY and they will forever remember this...
Unfortunately, Saban's machine has gotten away from this family atmosphere and now its all about the machine and his tantrums on the sideline rubbing the players and the anal attitude about doing it right ...blah, blah.....it is commendable and he does teach but in the hearts and minds is where the championship comes, not all the other distractions and ego.....and thats hard for me to say this, but I lived it too when players I recruited saw bright lights and glory rather than giving their minds and their hearts.....the defense of BAMA and some of the receivers caved in today....I don't blame TUA because he stayed ENTHUSIASTIC and respectful to his team and the lover of the game.....
I bet ya TUA is wishing he went to the TIGERS!!!
BAMA will not beat Clemson next year if they can continue to recruit defensive talent like they have
Listen to DABO talk right now...it shines through and thats the best recruiting advertisement that one can give....he will get those hard working heart and soul guys....not the quitters BAMA recruited thinking BRIGHT LIGHTS....
Haha....and I am not even a Bama fan....but its the truth. I have total respect for Dabo and Clemson and I hope BAMA can get theirs back because Oklahoma and Lincoln are doing what Dabo is trying to do.....and Herman in TEXAS....going to be interesting for sure and don't forget about NEBRASKA soon!
Beer is gotta be earned from winning or hard work. Andy Dufresne agrees.
