Don't think the public is or will be all over ND. More ND haters than fans and most average football fans believe in SEC football dominance and rightly so. It is the best football conference.
Think you are reading too much into that stat, but your entitled to your opinion. I am more interested in YPA which is near 8 yards. Golson seems to hit the passes in the clutch, if you have watched ND this year you would know this. Concurrently ND averages nearly the same amount of yards on the ground as through the air so once again you don't know what you are talking about. ND runs a multi set offense. They run both spread and more pro style sets.
ND is capable of going no huddle. First drive against SC was no huddle.
As for the points they are matters of opinion. I point out facts you point at facts it's what facts you decide to put value in. ND (if pitt wins saturday) will have beaten 10 bowl eligble teams. Far and a way played more compettive teams than UGA or Bama and played a tougher schedule. IMO the SEC just isn't that competitive top to bottom this season. You have some great teams at the top and then the rest. So IMO placing value in UGA or Bama blasting teams that lost to or struggled with Sun Belt and FCS compettion and claiming competitive equivalency is utterly unobjective and sounds more like a dogmatic religious belief in SEC domination not borne out by the facts of the matter this season. You are wagering on blind faith just as most of the public will be come Jan 7, believing that the SEC is an unstoppable football god........................

Most likely they will do both, like they have most of the year. Kelly will do whatever is working. Also I don't know why you believe ND doesn't have the athletes on the outside. Like I asked b4 who is going to cover Eifert this guy all by himself changes the whole dynamic. He opens up the running game and space for receivers on the outside just by being on the field.

My thought process is Bama is a big public favorite and public play because it is. I will take my chances with the dog.

I will grant you that.
I will grant you that.
Just my point of view from what I am reading and seeing statement wise from people not media hype. Go to any public sports forum and see what is being said you won't find a ton of ND love. Majority consensus is "ROLL TIDE"

It's a bit beyond that, but I really don't think there is any LB or Safety in the country that can match up and play this guy one on one he is simply a fantastic mix of size, strength, and pure catching ability. On a whole I think ND's offense is very undervalued. I honestly believe they are far more capable than they are being given credit for. Like I have said several times we will see Jan 7. This is all pure speculative bs, but we will have a definitive result in about a month.

I think the play calling has been conservative for two reasons:
1) Teach and protect Golson
2) They have been able to rely on the Defense
If they have to open it up they will and are more the capable and have shown it at different times throughout the season.
Also since ND RZ offense seems so horrid particulary after USC just something I noticed watch last 3 plays of last ND scoring drive and ponder why?

Here's the most valid point of all. Line opened at 11.5 and is down to 10.5 so did dimes drop it for chits and gigs are is all the public money pouring in on ND 5 weeks before the title game on a theorhetical line? Because we all know the public pounds "possible future lines" 5 weeks before an event that may or may not even happen. Afterall we know that offshore books are infamous for having massive populations of ND homers laying mortgage payments on ND.....................Use your head kids.

Evidently sarcasm is totally lost on you.

Tell you what Bama's unstoppable offense looked unreal against that stout A+M defense...........

My point was a theorhetical line that has dropped a point isn't being played by the "public".
