OMG Dude...Alabama's loss was to the #1 team in the country who had beaten everyone on their schedule like a mule including Oregon and WVU (both headed to BCS games that they would eventually win). Oklahoma State lost to a 6 loss Iowa STate team after blowing a 24-0 lead. The rematch was a no brainer and anyone who argues that doesn't know football. You may have WANTED Oklahoma State over Bama but Bama was far and away the better team.
I dis agree....
We already seen that game.
I remember years ago when Ohio st and Michigan were #1 and #2 and they played....all of you probably were crying saying we didnt need a rematch. Right? Right? Right? ESPN was screaming at the top of there lungs saying this better not happen!!!!!!!!!!
But I remember last year..........way before the game was even played you guys and the media was pumping everyone's head full of this shit called the "REMATCH "....NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TONIGHT........WE NEED A REMATCH.

Alabama lost at home. Oklahoma State lost the same day their women's basketball coach was killed in an accident. Alabama didn't even win a division of their conference. Their are valid points on both sides.

Get em boom....convincing SEC fans that the system and the rankings arent perfect is impossible....but your trying!!! you will never convince them...i personally cant watch SEC football for more than 5 minutes at a time!!! its and the fact that the last game of the season last year was is my reason for hating Bama #1 Florida #2...other rankings posted this season that were crap....Michigan #8 when they played bama...Ark #21 when they played bama....UGA, South carolina and LSU have been way over-ranked all season!!! As for seeing 2 SEC teams in the n.C. game again...i give it a 75% chance!!!

Please tideman...your full of shit on that one. I haven't been complaining for years... It's called pointing out the facts. Just as I did when I asked you how is Georgia ranked 10th??? well, the FACT isyou can't answer it. Why? Cause the polls and the media has a bias interest.
And no.... it's not set up to put the two best teams in.... Not at all. Whether you or I thought Alabama was the best team in the country at the end of the season doesn't fit into the BCS format. It doesnt Why? Go compare the schedules. Oklahoma S.T had a much stronger strength of schedule then Alabama did... now what?? or not to point out that both teams had losses and Alabama's was at HOME whereas okie st was on the ROAD...
Call it whatever you want... but dont call it crying, cause it's not. It's called facts.
South Carolina is 13th, with two losses, which were to 2nd ranked Florida, and 9th ranked LSU, and both were played on the road... Remember the other day how big of a deal playing on the road was?
Georgia is ranked 10th in the BCS with one loss, which was to 6th ranked South Carolina, also on the road
So who is ranked below them that makes this such a travesty?
How about explaining FSU's being ranked 12th in the BCS, they have one loss, to NC State, who got beat by 2 touchdowns to Tennessee... And their two of their seven wins were against Murray State and Savannah State ... Is the BCS also being bias towards the ACC and the Seminoles?

The main thing affecting the bias of BCS (whether real or imagined) is where teams are ranked at the start of the season. Good examples are the Oklahoma team of 2000-2001 and Auburn in 2010-2011. The only way either of those teams could have played for the NC was if they went unbeated............because neither were highly thought of at the beginning of the year. Obviously, South Carolina, Arkansas and Georgia were overrated at the start of this year.............and accordingly, their losses hurt them much less, rankings wise, than a team (of equal or higher quality) that was ranked lower or unranked at the start of the season. This has been going on forever.....long before the BCS. It hasn't always been the SEC, but instead has usually been the elite programs nationwide (Alabama-Ohio State-USC-Oklahoma-Florida State-Florida, etc). Just so happens that, with the SEC dominance of the past 6 years, many of the "chosen" are currently in the SEC. And, having a juicy TV deal with the primary source of NCAA football doesn't hurt either.

Playing on the road is the toughest thing in all of college football
But!!!! When you get hammered the way S.C did.... there is no respect lose a lose game, maybe...getting raped is another .............btw....they have lost 2 times now... so yeah, its a big deal

If anybody wants to know how good the SEC is, ask Ohio State!! 0-14 LOL. SEC easily wins another championship this year and next. The reason is the same for why some think Sec games are boring. Defense!!!! In the south we thrive on big hits and a fast D.. Alabama, Florida, Lsu and South Carolina could all beat Oregon and K.State...

As a "buckeyefan" I remember this, I would say vividly but I had been drinking quite a bit that day, ESPN & everyone else was saying they didn't want a rematch saying Michigan already had their chance and all and guess who got in...an SEC team! Then after Bama lost AT HOME!!!! ESPN was pumping it up from there on out about a rematch. Wonder if that had anything to do with $15B contract?
There's a reason the SEC has won 6 straight & not ALL of it has to do with the play on the field. I admit I'm an SEC hater (mainly bc the media is all over their dicks) but will give them their props. Bama seems to be the team to beat but that's why they play the games. And as far as yacker, they must not know football to say ANYTHING is a "no brainer."

your post 100% correct...except for...they wasn't saying it after the game last year...they were saying it BEFORE THE GAME EVEN STARTED

Should probably check your facts first eazy...it's 0-9 ONLY bc tOSU had to vacate the win against Ark & that's only in bowl games. But you really don't want to bring up the SEC in bowl games. Even if they've won 6 in a row, they are still under .500 in ALL bowl games the last few years or so.

Also eazy I wouldn't be claiming the SEC will win the NC next season since the Big 12 just signed a multi billion dollar with ESPN. ESPN will now be on both their dicks & the media bias will be pumping that up & put a Big 12 vs. SEC NC game on our TV's for a few years. Watch & see.

Gamecock fans around here actually believe that losing wasn't a bad thing saturday....because it was to a SEC team....
Im being serious
You cant make this shit up
The fan base here in college football is brainwashed
I believe it Boom, the SEC had a 2 loss team in there before, which never should've happened, and I won't be surprised if it happens again. Although, it will be a lot easier with a playoff. Fine by me though, they would probably at least deserve it. Funny thing about that playoff, the only way the SEC would agree to it is if they had the possibility of having more than 1 team in the playoffs. That's basically a "no brainer" that it's biased.

What I find funny about this post is that NOW Florida is "2nd ranked" & LSU is "9th ranked" but South Carolina was "6th ranked." Either you go by what they are ranked now or what they were ranked when the gamewas played. Either way the rankings are BULLSHIT and college football needs to get rid of the 22 different things they use to determine a NC.
To all the HC people, I know there isn't 22. Im exaggerating.

5 years ago, "SEC nation" never felt the way they do now... they actually pulled against there rivals, just like we all do. But now, for some sick twisted reason they love each other more then a West Virginian burning a couch
The problem it has created is the thing im making a argument about. You have teams like S.C and Georgia and Arkansas who clearly had no business being anywhere near the top 5 yet they were.... WHY? Because of the PRE - SEASON Bias polls set by who? ESPN. Anybody with any sense at all knows that Georgia and S.C shouldn't be any where near the top 15

Def agree boom. Thats bc they werent being set up to win every year back then. Hell im sure UK fans are talking shit bc of EVERYONE else in the conference.
I will admit I always root against Bichigan until the bowl game. Gotta root for the conf during bowls but reg season is a diff story. But i will def call a spade a spade. & im NOT going to give props to the other big 10 teams unless they actually deserve it.
And you are 100% correct about why the SEC has so many teams in the top 10 preseason and top 15 bcs. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You want to know how "tough" the SEC is? Florida can win the East with a win this weekend. But the SEC is SOOOOOOO tough they are lucky to make it out alive! What everyone outside the SEC sees is that its NOT that tough if its locked up in week 9. Capper was 100% correct saying you wont get thru these f**ks thick heads so really there is no use tryingright now. Wait til next season when ESPN starts hyping the big 12 & then we all will hate them as well.
