I very rarely post and will admit that i have been using u for my own benefit the past 2 years. I consider myself a very good NFL capper and a very average College capper. I dont blindly follow anyone, but i always make sure to find out what plays BOOM and RAS have and make sure to look into those closely. I believe there are prob many out there just like me just look at the number of VIEWS that ur thread gets. I know u work hard and win or lose u have my respect. BOL always whether or not u ever post again.

I never post but felt the need to here.   I thoroughly enjoy reading your notes every Sunday night and following your thoughts during the week.   I'm telling you right now your write-ups are better than any publication on the net AND its not even close!

Settle down and plow through this.   It will litterally ruin my college football weekends not reading your notes.

Its easy to tell the passion you have on college football.....Keep it coming bro.

You know how I know u know your garbage?   You are dead on with your thoughts on Tino Sunseri and your rule never to bet on Pitt as long as he's QB.    95% of college football fans have no idea how bad this QB is.

If you do leave....give us a couple of folks to follow on this board.    Every week I come to this board I wade through the garbage to find your posts.   I love the thought of this board however I don't want to take a year to find a reasonable  thread to pay attention to.

Good luck bud.

Boom you can't leave.  I never post, but I've been following for years.  I've got nothing but this thread and the Houston Astros (i.e., my life is much worse than any annoyance haters can inflict). Don't let a terrible group of people force you out, like Bud Selig did to my Stros.

Always loved your threads...can't wait to wake up Sunday mornings and read your post.  I don't post all that much just mainly hop online to see what the good cappers on Covers think about the upcoming games.  I tail you quite a bit on a lot of your plays and for the most part I do pretty well sports betting simply because of your insight.  I really hope you don't go but can completely understand why you would with all the dumbshits on this forum.

I want to share my first post with you.  You have made my weeks enjoyable with your 10 things.

Don't let these losers ruin your mojo!

Please don't pull a Central Michigan on all of us that share your love for the game.

BOOM!  Dammit!  Don't you do it!  Don't let these stupid mother guy win!  You don't owe them a damn thing!  Bunch of friggin idiots with nothing better to do than come after you.  You don't have to prove any points to them.  I know you better than that, you never let these people get to you.  They will disappear eventually.  Keep loving the game and forget these clowns.  I don't post much any longer just because I've seen what happens, win or lose.  But, you have so much insight in this sport, it truly is refreshing on this site.  darn the haters!

As most of you know I enjoy college football probably more than anyone on the planet. I love it. I spend 365 days a year on it and I have devoted my life to being a asset to the game. Every year I give a detailed assessment of  almost every team and conference. I do this because I feel as tho I spend so much time in the college football world that I have the heart beat of it in my hands. I share all of what I know on here because of the passion I have. The passion I have for this sport is something that I dont take lightly. Anytime anyone ask a question or has something that they dont understand I try to offer myself as a servant for this forum. I do this because I care about the game and want everyone to be as successful at it as they can.

But things around here in my eyes have become too exhausting. The hate and jealously that is lashed out towards me on a daily basis has really become hard to understand. I have been called everything from a tout to a liar. If any of you knew me on a personal level, you would know that is so far from the truth. Im a very honest, family first individual who cares about people. I would never be a tout. I have said on multiple occasions that money is so far from what I care about. I enjoy this game and what it stands for more then money could ever mean. I truly care more about sharing what I know about this game and being apart of it then money itself.

The question I need to ask myself is do I want to continue on doing this. Should I continue on doing this? I love getting up on Sunday mornings writing a review of the college football weekend. I do, I love it. But the constant bitching, hating and jealously that has consumed my threads every week has gotten to a point of me saying to myself, Why am I wasting my time anymore? I know alot of you guys say, ignore it man. But guys, you dont have to deal with page after page after page of people questioning your integrity and constant bitching. I had a guy earlier say, I had to flip threw 11 pages just to get through the hate.

There are so many good guys on here that I consider my friends. I dont want to get to mentioning names of fear of forgetting someone....but you guys know who you are. I definitely sticking around for my challenge because of my obligation to the guys in it.....But guys, I'm seriously considering ending my time here on covers. I'm sorry, but I think I have had about enough. I will be here for a while and this evening to discuss anything yall want to talk about..... But this is probably my last thread.

My two cents :  Yes Boom you offer alot there is NO QUESTION about that. Where I feel it rubs people the wrong way is the superlatives you use. ( Nobody loves college football as much as me )  That's simply not true. I write for two national blogs, I have three large screen tv's in my living room and I follow it 365 as well. And I am sure alot of people follow it as close as both of us. I like what you do I know I can have an intelligent conversation with you but this is a game played by kids and as much as we study we are wrong sometimes. For every right bet there is a Case Keenum will be a great pro quarterback. I had to learn to live with this as well as much as we work at it the facts are we are going to get it wrong from time to time. Doesnt mean you arent at the top of your game because I actually believe you are. I think the disconnect goes from you not taking losing graciously. I am often guilty of that myself. At the end of the day, you are right more then you are wrong and you should understand that's doing much much better then most. It's impossible to get it right all the time thats what makes it great when we are right in the first place. You lash out because somehow I think if you feel you are wrong once nobody will think you are grat at what you do. Not the case my friend. I think if you just start over next week understanding this everything will be fine. Nothing bothers an idiot who takes a shot at you more then when you agree with them. Example Hey Boom you went 8-4 thi sweekend but I had most of my money on your losses you suck.   Sorry to hear that if you followed the plays by the units you would be up.. Ends any kind of issue right there. I have learned the hard way myself to just kill people with kindness... JUst understand nobody can be perfect and being right 75% of th etime is as close as anyone is going to get. Start appreciateing the work you do you do a great job

I have been doing my weekend wrap in my blogs for years. If Boom decides thats it I will do my best to step in until he returns ( because he should and hopefully will ) to give everyone some color. Not to teach you anything because I am sure most are intelligent but to start up the dialogue for the game we all love.  I dont think it would be propper to leave the websites of th eblogs in someone elses thread but I'll condense it Monday and post so we can discuss

I´ll tell you something, people in here gets pissed because different form you, they care too much about money that they hate to lose the money that they can’t lose but either way the bet it.

They all know that have very good information and that you know the game, so they come here read all your analysis and make the bets that you suggest plus a couple of more, so they respect you in a way, if not they wouldn’t complain.

In my opinion if you want to be remembered as a guy that loves football, I think that if you do not want to post a play that’s ok, but you can still post the ten things we learn, and let us make the questions and the football discussions.

IF you want to still post some plays every now and then that would be really good for some of us that we don’t really have so much information on all the conferences and teams!!!

Hope to see you here for a long time!!

Hey Bense!

I'm been on the look out for you!  Where you been hiding?  I always like to hear from the Spartan side of things.  Technically I'm not allowed to like you this week, but what is your take on the big game this weekend?  Boy, if UM blows this one, where do I hide?  5 straight?  Good god, please tell me it can't be so!!??  I think the game should be a good one.  It would appear that your offensive struggles should serve for a UM win, but we know how rivalries go.  I think Denard is going to have to throw to win, in which case, when Denard sets to throw my game day routine will be (cross my fingers, close my eyes and repeat 3x: "please be the right colored jersey").

Sorry had to reach out to you in Booms thread.

Hope to hear from ya!

No problem.  Hope you stick around.  And it is going to be interesting to see what the OU/ND line opens up at.  I've been waiting on this line for weeks now,  I will be checking in on the line to see where it starts and drop a hammer if I like it.

Good Luck.

Hey Boom,
your thread was the first thread i ever read in this forum.  and it blew me away that someone was on a internet forum giving so much of there time and thought so that others that you dont even know could read and take what they could from it.  Your thread is what has made me a covers member and what has inspired me to occasionally post some plays.  I am definitely a noob and have maybe posted in your threads once and I post now because hearing that u may be done here is kinda sad.  You have given a lot of good insight on this game and it has made me a better handicapper because of it and i truly appreciate what u have to offer.  Take some advice from TRAIN and embrace the fagels.  I totally understand if you dont though.  i know there are tons like me who dont post but just lurk around for some logical insight on the game and you my friend are one of the people we lurk on lol just remember to take it easy

much love boom

Boom - you have 45,000 views on a 16 page thread.  Your thread is always the longest in CFB.  I agree w/ some thoughts, disagree with others, but it's always an enjoyable read.

With 45,000 views, you're bound to get 100 or so that hate you, envy you or both.  So you're bound to get trolled.  Often. And if you have one weakness, it's that you can't ignore them.  100 guys love your contributions, but 5 guys rip you and it's the 5 you obsess over.  No need.

Hope you stay. To paraphrase, George Bush, if you leave, the trolls win.
