Last Sat started a little rough but closed the day hitting 4 of 5 and getting in the green for the day. Lets hope this Saturday starts much better.
Saturday 6 Pack:
FLORIDA +3 (hook)
I really like this Florida team and have done well thus far backing Muschamp and the Gators. There is no doubt LSU was caught looking ahead last week vs Towson or were they? After the putrid performance against Aubbie I thought Les would have Towson blowed out by halftime last week. Errrr try again. Only up by 8 and eventually stumbling to a 16 point win as a 27 point favorite. Hmmm. What to do? Im backing the home town underdog Gators who are 5-2 ats against the Bengals as of late and are 17-6 ats as an SEC underdog.
MICHIGAN ST -14
I may have to buy a point here to get it to 14. If its more than a point I'll lay the -110 whatever it may be. Michigan St has treated their ats backers poorly this year covering just once in four tries but good news is on the way imo. State loves to whoop up on the Hoosiers covering 7 of the last 8 chances and winning by an average of nearly 30 ppg in the last 3 match ups. Michigan St should be able to run at will on the atrocious Indiana defense that allowed NW nearly 400 yards on the ground last week. St has the defense to to shut the Hoosiers down and I have no doubt that State can put up close to 40 as NW and Ball St both went over the 40 point mark. I think Bell has a huge day and we see a convincing win by Big Green in this one.
OU SOONERS -4
I know OU got beat last week by KState and not taking anything away from KState but OU turned the ball over way to many times to stay as close as they did in that game and gave away 14 points. For all the Stoops bashers out there I'll tell you there isn't a better coach to back off a loss as he has won 18 straight times in this spot. Thats impressive, you have to go back to 2003 to find the last time hes lost back to back games. Boomer comes in looking for revenge as the Techsters went to Norman last year and beat them su as huge underdogs. I bring up the revenge factor only because the last two times Tech has beaten OU, Stoops came back to avenge the loss su and ats both times. I'm riding with Big Red and Bobby to ride into Tech and open up a good ol fashioned can of woop ass in this one.
BALL ST OVER 66
Fellas...The easiest cash in CFB has been betting overs with Ball St and Im going with it until I get bucked off. Ball St cashed the over yet once again last week for me after having a scoreless 1st qtr. Ballie has gone over every game this year and now 10 straight games. With the over 7-3 the last 10 between these two I see no reason to bail on the trend. It will end sometime for sure.. just hope its not today.
TCU -7
Well SMU gave the Frogs 6 turnovers last week and TCU still had to hold on late to secure the win. Wow... Are they really that bad? I don't think so, especially at home where they are nearly unbeatable. State fought hard last week against Tech and lost by 11 being outgained by over 200 yds. For whatever the reason they usually feel the hangover as their perfect 0-7ats record would indicate after playing the Techsters. TCU meanwhile is hosting their first ever Big 12 conference game and will be looking to show they are true contenders in the conference and hopefully improve on their 3-0 ats run against the Clonies.
WISCONSIN - 14
Wisky is showing signs of life after going toe to toe last week against Big Red at a very tough venue. Illinois meanwhile is rolling over dead as of late. They have lost by 28,28 and 31 points in their last 3 losses. Wisky needs a blowout win and tend to get them at home where they are 9-1 ats their last 10 against conference opposition. I see no reason why they can't go 10-1ats after this one.
