Longhornhoosier- No way this Texas team goes 12-0. No way. They are going to play SEC football. That doesn't work in this conference. Yeah it works just fine if your playing in a bowl game and have 30 days to prepare. Good defense yes Texas has a great D. Just as good as anybody in the country. If they played in the SEC yeah they would have a chance to run the table because they wouldn't have to score much. The SEC is good defensively because the offenses are inept. Remember the Big 12 plays no defense yet when OU had a month to prepare they shut Tebow down and intercepted him twice. No team in the SEC had done that yet! It's the exact same thing. If Bama or LSU played in our conference and only had 5 days to prepare for the fast pace no huddle offenses, well they would give up a ton of yards and would have to completely change their offenses just to keep up. Remember last year, West Virginia lost to LSU but they West Virginia had close to 600 yards of offense on them. They still lost but LSU wouldn't have ran the table if they played in the Big 12. They would have had to change their offense just to keep up because somebody would have snake bitten them, and everybody and their dog would have been saying LSU'S defense sucked. The defenses in the Big 12 don't suck. It's just the offenses are so good that you can only contain them because you only have 5 days to prepare. The bowl system plays in the favor of the SEC. You get 30 days to prepare. Let's play in 5 days and its a different ball game. Let's see how good those defenses are. The same thing goes for Boise. They can't beat a great team in the middle of the season when they only have 5 days to prepare. They can only beat teams when they play them the 1st game of the season and they have had all summer to prepare and or play them in a bowl game when they have had 30 days to prepare. My point is, teams are going to score and I don't think Texas can score with them. I don't think they can keep up.

if ash or mccoy can manage the game at QB, we could go 12-0...our D is that good...wait and see...
if they win go 12-0, that would be dependent on Freshman RB Johnathon Grey, and unproven QBs vs some really tough match ups for them!! WV, TCU, OU, TT, K STATE...TEXAS WILL NOT BE A HIGH SCORING TEAM AVG PPG PROJECTION- 33...NOT ENOUGH IN BIG 12! AND INFLATED BY WYOMING AND HORRIBLE NM!
