How many top 5 or top 25 teams does Auburn have to beat before they are no longer pretenders? They have already beaten 4 times as many top 25 teams as Oregon. People that claim the SEC is down are not paying attention. The SEC has two teams in the top 5 and 6 teams in the top 25.

Well lets see if you can muster just one rational point.
It's funny how the Boise haters are for the most part SEC fans. Boise very well could have beat Bama last year, let alone this year. Bama had faced 1 efficient passing team last in Arkansas and 1 this year. The Razorbacks didn't and don't have a defense that even resembles Boise's defense. Texas wins last year with McCoy. Boise would slice and dice Bama's defense this year....... Utah all over again .

Many on here think Peterson is the best coach in college football and Miles is one of the worst. Iv'e seen it posted time and time again. Not debating the argument at all right now but . . .
what happens if LSU plays Boise in a BCS bowl this year and they beat them? Im not making a prediction, it's just a general question for the forum. If LSU wins handly will people finally admit that the talent gap is there? If LSU wins by a FG will you admit that you were wrong or say, "Oh look they can hang with an SEC team."
LSU beating Boise in a bowl game this year would completely decimate all of Boise's fans hopes at a National Championship. Boise couldn't withstand getting beat by a coach that has been a laughing stock for most of the season.

1-What would probably happen is it would be a great matchup...but to counter you're question. What would your big ass mouth say when BOISE wins? would it be oh they just got lucky again...our coach is a jackass and cost us the game...We weren't up for the game because it's Boise....bottom line is LSU isn't as good as Boise you guys lost to Tennessee but we given a gift..the scoreboard says LSU W but don't lie to yourself thats a miracle gift period....and Tennessee is horrible!!!
good luck getting to a BCS game this year any how

And Boise is 8-0 with that schedule which makes them light years ahead of Tennessee. Secondly, Tenn is in yet another transition season. Boise St is the best coached most well disclipined team in the nation with kids who have been in the same system for their entire college career. That is huge! Ask Mich, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Cinn, etc how important continuity is in college football.

Well what you fail to realize is that if Boise were in the SEC then they WITHOUT A DOUBT would have better recruiting and most definitely have more depth to take on these injuries.
But just like all of the other SEC slap dicks you just point out the not-so-obvious.
Most of you posters haveone dimensional views and are going the wrong way down a one way street, but then again you are stuck in Alabama

Then take the WAC, Mountain West, ACC (this year), Big East (this year) out of the D1 and make it 4 fucking conferences. You wanna feast of these little shcools and try to make them feel like they are a part of the larger fraternity but when they succeed with what's put in front of them you cut them off at the knee. Let me tell you something, if Boise hadn't ran the fuckin table last year with virtually the same fuckin team I wouldn't be having this arguement. How many times does a program need to prove itself worthy before getting a shot. They were a top 5 team preseason, all 4 of the other teams lost (everyone but Ohio St more than once). Somebody must of thought they were pretty fuckin good and all they have done is won since and now everyone else is better than them because they played a few harder teams. Complete bullshit. In my opinion you need to run the table in college football. If everyone has a loss then yes, the best conferences top teams should represent. A one loss SEC team as the national champion over a Boise state team with 24+ straight wins is a travesty.
