Die hard met fan here. Syndergaard is no deGrom and has had an iffy year. He pitched well last game against the phillies, word is deGrom told him to do 2 bullpen sessions vs the 1 in between starts. Maybe that gets him back on track. Against this Boston line up he could easily give up 3 or 4 runs in 7 innings but I think he comes out jacked up for the Sox.
The real question is the Boston side. Are they playing to win or stay healthy?
Kimbrel pitched last 2 days is he available to close tonight?
I like the mets line up in Fenway with McNeil, Bruce, Conforto and Nimmo I can see them scoring runs tonite. I like the mets motivation lately and playing in Fenway adds a little more juice for them.
I agree Mets are the play as I honestly believe they get a victory tonight. Too bad they aren't bigger dogs.
