Even with the Astros and Giants losses a nice profitable day . Almost did`nt hedge my bets with the same parlay as McShady but I`m sure glad I did at the last minute . Damn you guys are good .

It's always great to end the day in the green! Like everyone else, if my numbers played out on the field this would be easy pickings...

McShady, I have SF and the Angels on Trend 1 as on your sheet, but did you miss KC? They won game 1 and have lost the next 2 in the double-header yesterday.
(in case somebody doesn't know what I am talking about, trend 1 is to play on a team that won the 1st game of a 4 game series to win another game. the teams today are SF, Angels and KC, unless I am missing something I can't see)
Today I like to play on home favs to avoid sweep Cards and Dodgers. Cards are in play on trend 2 and 3 of McShady's spreadsheet.
Someone please chime in on the KC thing, McShady may have missed it.

I'm glad Tex-1.5 and the Indians hit yesterday (thanks Semper!). I'm on the Angels under and Seattle over as well as the ones mentioned in my prior post (SF, Angels, KC and all of McShady's plays except I am splitting the under on SF between the under and on SF both full game.
I think my Astros can take one today, but they suck on the road. Blew a 2 run lead in bottom of 5th yesterday.
McShady has a play on Phillies over I am on that also.
McShady, the way the Cards pitchers have juiced up their lines this weekend they might be fade material. I don't think they have the injuries or other issues that you liked about fading the Phillies. I like the way you did on the Phils, highly rated pitchers with juicy lines. Even yesterday I read people saying you can't pass us Hamels at -130. Hell yes you can I should have posted that as fishy line of the day!

Angle you're correct about KC. Chen pitching as well, coming off 2 solid outings. Nice value too

I noticed McShady has Red Sox team total over 4. My book doesn't offer team totals. Just thought I would mention it as all I can get right now is total game over 8 +100, so there is juice on the under. It might go down to 7.5 later. I read somewhere the last 8 games in Seattle have gone under or something like that, but there was a pep talk from the manager about scoring more runs, let's hope it works today. I think the Red Sox team total over 4 is good, let's hope they get at least 6 so we can get over 8 total. Surely Seattle is good for 2 runs.

Covers has lines for MLB on some offshore and a few Vegas lines. You can check there. Also, whatever book you use will show the lines and should refresh occasionally. I like to write down the line when I first logon for each game with totals and then if my page refreshes I look to see which ones have changed. If I like a certain team I will watch the line if it is moving my way I wait and if it is moving against me I get the play in then. Of course sometimes it may move again later either for or against you. I just like to know what's happening to try and get the best line.
***HANDICAPPING ALERT*** I don't know and can't imagine what resources McShady has but he can find stats, etc. very quickly. I don't know how he does it and I wouldn't have the time to maintain it even if I did.
Here is a very simple method that I use, anyone can do this and it takes very little time.
Get yourself a college-ruled spiral notebook. Do not use standard rule as there aren't enough lines on the page!
Each day write down the team matchups with ML on the game and totals and also with the listed pitchers. At the end of the day update the scores. That way you can quickly reference the results of the last days, weeks, even months without having to spend a lot of time on the computer. You can check the last few days to see who is about to be swept and how many games in the series, etc. It is really handy, doesn't take a lot of time and makes it easy to check the past without having to tie up your computer trying to figure out if a team won 2 days ago. Start a new day on the back of the first page. You probably should date the top of the page as well.
The reason I saw Mia was I bet a unit at -109 and then decided to increase my bet and it had went to -122. Looks like it closed over -130 in my book.

Hello everyone, McShady maybe you should take a look to the Tampa bay rays to fade, unless Longoria is coming back soon they really suffer to score. GL everyone, i think is time to come back for dodgers, and Kershaw is the guy' im taking them rl, but is not part of any trend.

Here is an example of how I do it using the line I wrote down this morning before it moved, etc. This is just an example.
12:10 PHI o20 Blanton MIA-115 9 Nolasco
12:35 WASH 8 Gonzalez ATL -110 u20 Hudson
Be aware there are only 33 lines on a college-ruled page, and with 15 games on a full day you don't leave any lines between each game unless you use two columns, one for NL and one for AL. I start at the top with NL and put the AL below and leave one line blank to separate the leagues (unless there is a double-header) so all the games are lined up from top to bottom and much easier to glance at. It also makes it easier to keep up with the starting times if they are lined up one on top of the other. I always circle the times of the early games so I know to be sure and get them in on time.
Basically I line the games up in the same order as my book shows them, it makes it easier to work that way. I believe most books have the NL on top and the AL on bottom.
Of course, I guess you could do a screen print and then keep them in a binder, that might be easier but this is always the way I have done it and I'm an older fart. Whatever is easier for each person. Plus this way I can put today on the front of the page and tomorrow on the back, fewer pages that way. So with a 70 page notebook it would last you 140 days. Believe it or not, I can even fit all the football, NBA and college games on one page if I make smaller boxes for each game! I don't always keep the scores for college football and basketball as some days there are just too many games and it takes too much time. That is why I love baseball. It's quick to record it.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THE WIDE RULE NOTEBOOK! I called it standard rule, but now I remember it is called WIDE RULE. Do NOT use it!
