i played the whie sox last night and they lost 5-0 why do they win today with daddy Humber pitching on Mother's Day . is that the angle he is gonna give his baby momma a mother's day victory ? i like to be on the same side as you, please help me see why they win today
I'm a big Phil Humber guy - he's been rocked his last 3 outings -vs- BOS, CLE, CLE. His last victory came on a Sunday afternoon where he threw his Perfect Game @ Seattle.
A mother's day angle is not really my play - but buying Humber pretty cheap, expecting him to not get rocked for a 4th straight game and Duffy is making only his 2nd road start of the year.
I think the *UNDER 8* is a strong play too - the White Sox have been shutout 3 times this year and the following game they've bounced back with 4 runs each in those 3 games, collecting 2 wins and losing a 14 inning game to the A's.
This 4U play is all faith in Humber and Duffy getting touched up making his 2nd road appearance of the year, his first since opening day @ Oakland where he stood out with 0ER.
And if you want to get a little Trendy with this matchup - the Royals have lost their last 4 games played on Sunday and the White Sox are 8-2 following a loss where they scored 2 runs or less where the Roylas are 4-10 their L14 after scoring 5 runs or more...

Hey Gil, in regards to the White Sox, Duffy just got by the Yanks and Boston's lineup over his last two starts. Now he gets this shitty White Sox lineup with all of their holes. Royals starting to creep towards that .500 mark and are actually better on the road. Looks like I'm gonna sit this one out. The value is gone and I don't want to go against you in this one. Good luck to you brother.
Agreed - the Royals woulda been a good value play last night or very early this morning. Line movement doesn't worry me too much in this one as the Royals are a popular dog closing out the series today -vs- Humber who has been rocked his last 3 and Duffy has stood out shutting down the AL East.
Humber is a different pitcher during the day - 6-3, 3.19 ERA his last 9 started in the Day.

Working off GiLz iPhone™ today - I believe I pulled enough off Weaver hoping the Rangers will get to him @ Arlington in their series finale.
Feliz has been remarkable in the starter role thus far - liking the Sunday Night MoJo aspect to have a rough go after the Angels bat through the lineup.
Leaned Rangers ML & RL but like the low scoring affair yesterday to let the bats pop off on prime-time.
