The flew out to Minnesota Saturday but their plane was diverted back to Duluth, Minn and instead they flew back to Winnipeg.

So they actually flew out to Minnesota this morning.

Wonder if they feel a bit jet lagged early in the game?

Interesting. Nice lil piece of info there. Thats a 7-8 hour flight, too. Nothing to sneeze at.

I am pretty sure its like a 2 hour flight from the Peg to Minny but yesterdays travel was probably tiring.

You can't be serious that its a 7 or 8 hour flight? Just asking?

What it did was get the Jets out of a routine they have followed all season long.

This is the BIGGEST factor of the whole situation. Anyway, Delta says the flight time is 1:25 min., which usually means about an hour of actual flight time.

I think NYB ment 7 to 8 hours of screwing around with the divert and delays finally ending up back in Winnipeg and then having to travel Sunday. I know from experience from flying the line years ago that is VERY fatiguing when that happens

Always a bad angle to cap off of.  Need we all be reminded Florida Panthers got into Boston at 3am and beat the Bruins on their home ice to spoil the division clinching win.

Completely disagree. I think its a big angle to take into consideration, despite one example to the contrary.

Athletes are very much into routines and things like this generally throw those routines into chaos. That said, I was on Minnesota prior to this being news, although I did enjoy hearing it after the fact.
